- Wesley Restaurant is named in honor of Jiang Kai Shek's wife, who unlike her husband had a love for western cuisine, which stemmed from her studies at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Silks Place Taroko is located
Silks Place Taroko is located in one of the most beautyful spots in the Taroko Gorges. two scenic bridges a modern temple with a pagoda are at a stone throuw from the hotel (ok, the pagoda is made in concrete, but it is still quite picturesque). The western-style restaurant and the buffet offer excellent quality and amazing quantity of food for a reasonable price. Bicycle can be rented from the Hotel shop for NT450 for the entire day. Finally, for NT350 the hotel provides a pick-up service at Hualien station and airport. This is really helpful because there is no public transport from Hualien to Tianxing (where the hotel is located) later that 13.50. Overall, if want to visit Taroko and have a bit of money to spend, this is the Hotel you want to stay in!

Excellent hotel in superb location,
Excellent hotel in superb location, stayed in a mountain view room which was actually inner yard view which is actually japanese style yard with lots of bamboo and stones. Excellent breakfast. At this time there is a frequent public bus (free!! - run by the local government) from the train station in Hualien to Tianxiang (hotel's location), and it stops on the way at all major sites.

The Hotel is great. The staff
The Hotel is great. The staff is wonderful and very friendly and helpful. However, the two restaurants in the hotel serve very mediocre food. There are no other restaurants in the area, so you don't really have any other choices. Too bad the Hotel can't realize how much better it would be if the food quality was improved.

The hotel is rather run-down from
The hotel is rather run-down from the outside. We were given a room facing a wall in the basement, but upon request, we were given another room with a view. There is a wide breakfast selection, although it is the same each day. The staff are friendly and ever ready to assist.

地點很好的飯店，服務也讓人低調的讓人舒服，尤其是在頂樓露天的泳池、spa池及lounge bar 真是的太棒了。只是精緻度上，讓人覺得可惜，當服務人員告知我，要泡spa就直接把浴袍從房間穿出來，我是有點傻眼，尤其我要穿過兩個餐廳及坐四層樓的電梯上頂樓，這樣真的好嗎?? 還有晚餐的西餐部份，以原價800多，打折600多的價位，內容部份真的需要再加油一下!! 很適合．．．想逃離都會生活的上班族，去沉澱一下心情，但如果是全家要一起去玩耍的話，就可能需要參加他舉辦的活動及課程，比較能達到同樂的目的

山の中の ホテルとして 部屋 設備 備品 申し分ないです。 フロント スタッフの 対応も テキパキとしてました。 ただ 英語対応は 申し分なかったのですが 日本語対応はいまいち でした。 利用したのが シーズンオフだった事もあったのでしょうが 夕食時 利用できる レストランが一か所だけでした。 また 売店がありますが 品数が少なく 他にないので 来る前に 花蓮あたりの コンビニ立ち寄りお勧めします。 私は喫煙者ですが たばこ入手できませんでした。 朝食は ブッフェスタイルでしたが料理 数の取り揃えは見事で 十分に堪能できました。
