it is not worth living this hotel
The location is good because it is near to main rial station. But there is no individual bath room and toilet, I think this price should include them.

If you are traveling alone, don't need luxury, and want to spend $100 instead of $400 on a night in Zurich, this is the place. The rooms are small and sparsely furnished, with most of the running water down the hall, but clean and perfect for what I needed - an inexpensive place to sleep for one night in the heart of downtown before my departing flight the next day. Not a place for a luxury or romantic stay, but a clean and safe way to stay in the heart of Zurich for someone primarily concerned with not breaking the bank for a decent place to sleep.

Travelin' Man
No Frills in Zurich
The Zig Zag Rock Hotel is pure and simple a no frills budget hotel, that just happens to be in a great location, in Zürich's old town. The staff was friendly. The rooms were small, stark, and in need of some loving. And with an uncomfortable bed. The shower and WC were outside the room and down the hall. This is the kind of hotel you stay at if you want a cheap room in a great location. It's also close to a tram stop. If you like Indian food, there's an excellent restaurant in the building.

Fun atmosphere, friendly staff!
The hotel had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and was right in the thick of the action. It was just steps to great restaurants shopping and bars (and a truly fantastic candy store!) the room was clean and surprisingly spacious with comfy beds and windows overlooking the cobblestone streets. Charming!

There is a fabulous (but pricey!) restaurant down the street serving the traditional cheese fondue And raclette. Worth the price!

There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms.
There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The only one computer in the lobby area available for guests wasn't functioning during the entire stay (4 days). The rooms are very basic. Overall, the price is too high compared to the service.

great location and price, but not fancy
We had a morning flight out the next day, but also wanted to stay in the old town of Zurich. We wanted to sight-see for a little while but also have good access to the airport for a decent price. The price was really good for the location since Zurich is so expensive. We were able to easily walk the next morning to the train station and take a train easily to the airport. The hotel is not fancy at all, a little dingy, but it is fun with all the rock'n'roll decor.

Basically across the street and up a flight of stairs from the hotel is a "Pasta Garden" (like a beer garden with outdoor seating, but serving primarily pastas instead). Though a little expensive, the atmosphere, service, and food were really good.

Das Hotel ist zu dem Preis nicht
Das Hotel ist zu dem Preis nicht zu empehlen, ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit Waschbecken, Dusche und WC auf dem Flur. Das Hotel ist einem ordentlichen aber sehr renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Das Preis Leistungsverhältniss passt überhaupt nicht

Good location, but smoke smell
Good location, but smoke smell everywhere... I woke up as if I had sleept in a bar!!! Overpriced. (En español: cutre, muy cutre).
