The Dolder Grand is the perfect environment for people who are looking for pleasure, exclusivity and relaxation: 173 luxurious rooms and suites, exquisite cuisine, a spa covering 4,000 square metres and generous banqueting and seminar facilities. The original Curhaus dating from 1899 presents itself a new as the luxury-class City Resort. Its elevated location, between the pulsating life of the city and a refreshingly natural green zone, provides a magnificent view of the city of Zurich, the lake and the Alps.
!! Due to the hosting of a large conference, The Restaurant will not be available for individual reservations from Saturday, 25 June 2011, to Tuesday, 12 July 2011, noon.
The Restaurant will be closed from 24 July to 15 August 2011.
The Dolder Grand Rooms
- DELUXE - DOUBLE
- Double Rooms Deluxe in the Main Building and in the new wings all have balconies, are south-facing and are between 35 and 46 square metres in size. In the Main Building there are also six historically protected rooms that have been faithfully restored to their original condition. All rooms are south-facing with views across Zurich, the lake or the Alps.

- Single Rooms Superior have a courtyard view and are between 25 and 30 square metres in size. They are all located in the Main Building and have no balcony.

- Area description
- The Dolder Grand is situated in an elevated location between pulsating city and invigorating nature. By car it is only a short journey to the city centre and only 20 minutes away from Zurich Airport. Hotel has the own car park with 240 spaces, which does incur a charge. The Dolder Grand can be reached easily using public transport. Take one of the trams numbered 3, 8 or 15 to Roemerhof and then take the rack-and-pinion railway to Dolderbahn Bergstation. The final station is right next to the Hotel. A Hotel shuttle bus service runs regularly during the day, taking guests to the city centre free of charge. Hotel will be delighted to take your booking for a personal limousine service.

- The Restaurant offers fresh and innovative gourmet cuisine by our Chef Fine Dining Heiko Nieder in a stylish atmosphere. The Restaurant has been awarded 17 GaultMillau points and two Michelin stars. In the summer the terrace is open, with views across the city of Zurich, the lake and the Alps. At lunchtime we recommend the quick Business lunch as well as the Amuse Bouche Menu which contains a cross-section of dishes available from The Restaurant. In the evening we offer 4-course to 7-course dinners as well as the special vegetarian menu.Opening hours Tuesday to Friday 12.00 am till 02.00 pm and 7.00 pm till 10.00 pm. Saturday 7.00 pm till 10.00 pm.Closed Sunday and Monday !! - The Lobby is characterised by the restored historic ceiling and the antique fireplace, combined with modern elements in interior design. In addition to drinks and snacks, cakes and pastries are also served daily. Lovers of tea culture can enjoy a selection of green tea, white tea and black tea. - Extraordinary suspended ceiling lights create a fantastic atmosphere in the modern Dolder Grand Bar with a lounge-style terrace. The Bar is open daily, serving drinks, cocktails and snacks. Opening hours Sunday to Wednesday 6.00 pm till 1.00 am Thursday to Saturday 6.00 pm till 2.00 am
- The Spa Cafe
- The Spa Cafe serves light meals, salads and soups, as well as refreshing and revitalising juices and teas. It is the ideal place when you are in the Spa Reception Area, whether you have been shopping in the Spa Shop or have been to the hairdresser's. It is also possible to take the dishes as Take-Away back home. Opening hours Monday to Friday 11.00 am till 8.00 pm Saturday and Sunday 10.00 am till 8.00 pm

EXCELLENT , Gebaut als Residenz für Könige
Das pompös erscheinende und neu renovierte Hotel war schon immer an der Spitze der zürcher Hotels wie jeder weiss. Hier ist Geniessen angesagt für die Leute ,denen das Geld eine untergeordnete Rolle spielt, dafür die Lage, den Comfort und den Service zu schätzen wissen. Die Wandelung durch die Hallen beschwingt einem und in den grosszügig gestalteten Zimmern fühlt man sich richtig wohl. Der Confort und viele Annehmlichkeiten machen den Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis. Wir wünschen dem Dolder Grand Hotel viel Erfolg.
