Hard to find. Quite a walk from the Centeral station. It is in the Red light district. Stinks of smoke from lobby to all floors. No AC or Fans. Open the windows and the street noise, even on the fourth floor, will keep you awake till 5am in the morning. Not worth bthe 139 ($159) swiss franks. The room is the size of a bathroom. The TV remote doesnot work but you can stretch your hand to change channles lying on you bed. Plenty of better hotels near the train station.

Terrible hotel and location. Bad neighborhood and it says internet in room but it does not have, only in lobby.

First time staying on the West side of Zurich (I usually stay along the East bank near the train station). This area is much more diverse (i.e. lower income) and less touristy than areas closer to the main station. It's easy to get to by bus - just grab a map at the central station, otherwise you'll be a bit tired from carrying your luggage the whole way. A good chance to take in the local culture, but there's not much shopping, sightseeing, or upscale dining in the area. ***Note that air conditioning/AC is NOT provided if you are staying in the summer...also that there are a couple bars nearby than might wake up light sleepers with their windows open*** Nearby sex shop and strip clubs if that bothers you or your children. Fun neighborhood - I'd live there if I were from Zurich - but not the best place to stay if you're doing the tourist thing. You can get something comparably priced nearer to the main station.

The room was clean and overlooked a nice courtyard, however, it was located in the red light district.

Hotel OK - in redlight district
Hotel was very clean and friendly. It was located in a red-light district which meant their were interesting people in the neighborhood and the hotel...it is an OK hotel if you are OK with this.

LOUDER THAN TIME SQUARE!
The Regina in Switzerland is in a very shady part of Zurich. If you want to be kept awake all night long then stay here. It was far louder than any Times Square hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was ok. The loudness was a real discomofort as we were there on business and literally did NOT sleep for three nights.
