Good Stay
check in nwas a breeze. Room very nice and all. We selected it for the convienence of being right at Zurich airport. Only real complaint was the cost was way too high we felt. But we paid for the easy access to ZIA

Radisson Blu
The hotel is a good choice for anyone traveling from the Zurich airport. The guaranteed room rate did not include breakfast, outrageous at 38 SFR per person, but a 75 SFR upgrade to a business class room did include the breakfast and what purported to be a better room, though we could not check, and the room was very pleasant. Service was friendly but somewhat lax with a mistake made in the bill and a brief wait at check-in.

Green light for Blu
Fast efficient check in, clean, spacious, quiet room. Great location for catching early am flights or with late arrival. Room has an unusual smell - ? from the leather in room.

Extremely Convenient
While we normally would have stayed in the city, with an early morning flight out we appreciated the short walk to check in to our flight and a five minute walk to the train station. Trains run every 10-15 minutes to the old town of Zurich. We spent a great day in Zurich by the lake, headed back to the airport and had absolutely no pressure to make our flight in the morning. Modern hotel with excellent accomodating staff.

Short walk from hotel
There are a variety of shopping options conveniently on the short walk from the airport train station and the hotel. A small grocery store was very close to the hotel, which is great for last minute purchases, an easy way to spend your last Francs, or in our case a quick inexpensive breakfast.

Not Blue at Blu!
The proximity to the airport makes this an ideal place to stay when you are arriving or departing Zurich. You can literally walk to the hotel from the terminal in about 2 minutes. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, very chic in terms of its furnishings and spatial organization, and the complimentary breakfast is beyond belief in terms of its wealth of offerings and excellence. I want to stay in this hotel next week, when I'll be staying in Zurich again for a couple of days--but it is entirely booked. I can see why.

Zurich Airport Radison
The Hotel was easy to find and very quiet which is surprising for a hotel at the airport. The room was comfortable and the registration staff was friendly. My only dislike was the feather bed covers. I can't stay comfortable with out sheets and blankets. Either too hot with the cover on or too cold with the cover off. But that's the way all European hotels I've stayed in are so I don't count that against them.

Radisson Blu
We had dinner in the Italian restaurant and the service was terrible! Took 1 1/2 hours for dinner for 2. Not very acceptable when you are jet lagged and just want to rest. Never a reason for it - we just watched others come and go. We definitely tried to speed things up but the staff wasn't very responsive.

Radisson Blu Zurich
Most convenient, not having to take a shuttle. You have only a short walk with your luggage cart directly to the elevator in the Blu. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Ours overlooked the lobby and the hyped "Wine Tower". I must say that the "Wine Angels" were not all that entertaining. What was, was the train ride into downtown Zurich, shopping along Bahnhofstrasse, and drinking beer and eating the best weinerschnitzle ever at the Zueghauskeller.

Short drive from hotel
Short "drive" on the train to downtown Zurich. Anything you want! Great shopping but very pricey. Great food -- except to pay 13.50 CHF for a liter mug of delicious beer and 32.50 CHF for the best weinerschnitzle ever. Great window shopping and strolling through the streets along the river.
