May take 55 minutes to get to airport from hotel
Although the hotel is on Flughofstrasse (airport street), and it is close to the airport "as the crow flies", getting from the airport to the hotel may take quite awhile. The shuttle bus runs once every 40 minutes and they tell you to expect a 15-20 minute ride. In our case, it was 12 minutes in either direction. The hotel accommodations are very nice, commensurate with its 4-star rating. The hotel restaurant is extremely expensive (25 Swiss francs for a grilled hamburg). In the same building there is a McDonald's offering hamburgs for about 12 Swiss francs. The breakfast hot buffet is 25 Swiss francs, cold buffet is 18. There are no other restaurants within walking distance. We stayed on a Sunday night and there was no problem with noise from the airport. During the day you can hear jets taking off all the time - it doesn't matter which side of the building you are on. As is customary in Swiss and German hotels, the bed does not have blankets, but instead a thing that is like a comforter inside a fabric cover. It can be difficult to adjust the covering so you are neither cold nor hot.

Functional Airport Hotel
We needed a place to stay near the airport and this place was conveniently located next to the light rail station. The rooms were clean and the staff was efficient. The hotel is close to the airport and has a good shuttle service. The hotel is good at what it does: being an airport hotel.

close to airport but not recommended
There was road construction and it took 1 hour and 60 swiss franks to go 5 km to the hotel. There is a MacDonalds right off the lobby It was pretty tacky

Don't be deceived by the pictures online
The hotel rooms are very small. The shower is detached from the bathroom. They listed breakfast in the room rate but beware the hotel manager told us that breakfast is never part of the Internet rate. No free wifi in rooms. access on terminals in the lobby. Shuttle frequency ok. A call to the hotel is well worth to find what is included in the rate. Room did not have many light fixtures working. Hotel is very far away from the airport not walking distance. Be cautious. Will not recommend it

Don't need Feng Shui
Clean and comfortable, but the "shower in the room" layout was very inconvienent for my family. We all had to wait in the lobby as each person took their turn showering. Very limited options for dining besides the hotel, and the attached McDonalds.

Great Location for the Airport
Great loction to and from the Zurich Airport. On time, every time, just be sure to resrve your time! Hotel more than met our expectations, comfy, great beds and quiet. Food can be a problem, its either the hotel, McDonalds next door or walk down the road to the Pizza Parlor. All in all, a great bargin!

Two nights in Switzerland
I can take or leave the "Feng Shui" style headboard and all, but the bathroom, and shower are excellent! I can appreciate modern/contemporary styling, and the Swiss love modern! The remote control adjustable bed was a nice touch too. A nice large window, dual pane with remote controlled blinds gives a nice view of a farm field with a glimpse of Zurich Airport just over the trees! We arrived on a late Sunday afternoon but the hotel staff was very helpful in securing booking for a same day guided tour of Zurich. The train platform was a 10 to 15 minute walk

On the large railway stations try not to use/board the trains in the late afternoon when people go home from work. It gets pretty crowded, good time for pick pockets! Stay to the right, single file on the escalators. Some people still run on an escalator, trying to get their train, and you can get pushed down.

Excellent Hotel
Beautiful, modern hotel. Very reasonable price. I would recommend to anyone who needs to stay near the airport. Also has a shuttle service to and from the airport which is very reliable.
