Buy the 24 hour (CHF 19) or 3 day (CHF 38) Zurich Card at the airport rail station ticket booths if you're going to want to move around much while your there. It's good on most all of the local public transportation system in Zurich and is way less expensive than cabs. Cab from hotel to airport will cost you more than the 24 hour card.

Shopping along the Bahnstrasse in Zurich and its associated side streets and alleys is one of the terrific attractions of this great city. Quaint restaurants and bistros abound with The Lion Pub on Oetenbach-Gasse, just off the bahnstrasse, is one of my favorites for a perfectly poured Guinness and a tasty sandwich. The Opera House is magnificent with tickets usually available on the day of the performance.

excellent transportation to the airport

This trip is a medical school graduation present for our son. Since he doesn't have much time to spend away we were able to ... see and do so much because the hotel is very close to Zurich airport where you can catch the train to anywhere and almost anytime. We would definitely stay here again for our next trip.

This is a nice hotel. Rooms are a nice size and seem to be well insulated as I had no problem with noise even though it is ... close to the airport and train tracks. Free shuttle bus to & from airport. I also used it to go to airport train station to catch trains into the city. Takes about 30 to 40 minutes to get from the hotel to the main train station in Zurich using the shuttle and trains. Food was good.

Rooms were clean and quiet. Hotel is near airport but rooms are very quite. Shuttle service to and from airport and trains ... was great. Very convienent place to stay for Zurich.

An outstanding conveniently located hotel near the Zurich airport with terrific service, great attentive staff and shuttle ... service, and a delightful Swiss restaurant offering wonderful food with superb service.
