Zurich hotel offers elegant comforts amidst Mondrian-inspired design
Blocks from the Zurich Airport, the Allegra hotel's quiet surroundings and comfortable amenities create an excellent retreat for both business and leisure travelers. Train and road links to Zurich puts guests within minutes of the city's premium sights and shopping. Allegra offers great freebies including Wi-Fi, luggage storage and shuttle service. A fitness center, pool and all-day restaurant and bar mean that guests have ample conveniences at their disposal from the minute they arrive to this cheerful, Mondrian-inspired setting.

- The modern rooms are in excellent. They are relatively simple in style but extremely comfortable and clean. They are also quiet as the hotel is far enough from the airport not to be affected too much by the sound of the planes. The modern bathrooms are also in exceptional condition.

This hotel is closer to the Airport, but in a very remote location. I am not sure why I got a room with five beds, may be because I didn't book directly and also the service was not good. For some reason, I was not comfortable.

Great layover hotel
Unusually spacious room and bath, especially for a layover hotel. Very clean, bright, comfortable. Even the croissants were good.

Great for layover in Zurich
I had a very long layover in Zurich and this hotel is perfectly located -- with a free shuttle both ways. The town around it is quiet; you can find friendly company in the bar; the rooms were simple but very clean. I felt quite comfortable traveling alone.

The best around Zurich Airport
This hotel is the most ideal place for a last night stay before departure from Zurich Airport. The complimentary continental breakfast buffet is very generous and the coffee is good! The hotel accepted our small dog without any additional charge and the staff was very welcoming. Unfortunately the hotel is well booked, so make reservations early, if possible. Was in the past several times unable to obtain a room, but the Allegra is defiinetely my 1st choice near Zurich Airport. Forgot one thing, parking is free!

Great airport hotel
Lovely, modern airport hotel with great rooms, comfortable beds, extremely clean, great bathroom. Includes a continental breakfast. And is just minutes away from a train stop that takes you into downtown Zurich.

Only one real negative but it was a whopper!
Hotel was just the thing before a morning flight after 2.5 weeks traveling in Italy and France. The room was gigantic (though it might have had an unfair comparitive advantage as the room we had just come from was in Venice and smaller than a cruise ship cabin). Well oriented to the needs of someone who needs to get to the airport the next day. However, as we were dropping off to sleep at 22:30, we were interrupted by a man entering our locked and latched door with his backpack and suitcase. After soime hearty screaming by my sweetheart, he apologized and left. We called down to the desk and the fellow there was "stunned". He said that it should not have happened. On this, everyone agrees. A person came up with new keycards and a IC card with a wire and said our door could now only be opened by the new keycards. We never received an explanation for how it could have happened -- somehow, he had to have some level of master keycard. There were no offers to ameliorate the issue (change rooms, change hotels, etc.) We got almost no sleep inside our barracaded room and left early for the airport.

Lovely little hotel
A nice surprise to find great location close to airport & train station. Excellent restaurant that we were not aware of until checking in, & a full bar with the bartender suggesting a great Swiss wine. Enjoyed our stay just one night before flying out of Zurich. Would reccomend for sure.
