- The newly renovated rooms vary a lot in style due to the age of the building, but most are small to medium in size. They are all decorated in rustic Swiss style with carved wood ceilings giving them a lovely cosy feel. Many rooms have views of the Matterhorn. Both the rooms and the beautiful, fully tiled bathrooms are now in exceptional condition

It was a great hotel to stay in, the staff were very friendly and helpful and took a personal interest in each guest. The position in Zermatt was ideal, close to the town and the station.

Hotel was in great location, close to everything but quiet. About 10 mins walk from the station. Hotel is small and rooms not huge, but perfectly adequate for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony and overlooking the quiet part of the village (including the graveyard!). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fruit everywhere for guests at any time. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Short walk from hotel
We spent ages trying to find the marmot observation post at Sunnegga paradise, as it is not signposted at all. You need to walk down (or there is a lift just outside the restaurant) to the chairlift, then look downhill to the right for the three square information plaques. So worth the search though, we saw several out feeding and enjoying the sun and we got really close without seeming to disturb them at all. Also, look out for the goats being herded through town ringing their bells - we came upon them about 4.45pm one day.

Friendly staff takes good care
Friendly staff takes good care of their visitors with personal attention. Great breakfast. The room we stayed in was small, but with a refurbished bathroom (not all have that) and a fantastic wooden roof. Towels changed twice a day. Located in a quiet street in the the city centre, only a few steps from the ski bus (you need to take a crowded bus to the slopes from most hotels in Zermatt). A little bit pricey.

Beautiful room, great staff
The Allalin was terrific - beautiful and spacious room with excellent bathroom, balcony with view, great breakfasts, and very responsive staff. We particularly appreciated staff's help with picking out the right hikes for us - they listened carefully to our description of what we wanted and gave us great advice. We were there on our honeymoon and were so pleased to have a beautiful and friendly place to stay while we enjoyed the gorgeous mountains. The only minus was that our double bed was actually two twin beds pushed together - not quite as comfortable.

マッターホルンを擁するツェルマットは、それだけで十分な観光地
マッターホルンを擁するツェルマットは、それだけで十分な観光地であるが、Allalin Hotelの心づくしの「おもてなし」のおかげで、滞在を最大限に楽しむことができた。立地のよさのみならず、ホテルの内装は品のよい木彫で統一されており、清潔感も抜群である。スタッフの親切心、朝食のセンスとバラエティーの豊富さなど、文句なしのホテルである。マッターホルン・ビューに滞在したが、3泊のうち2日は、雲ひとつない山頂をおがむことができたのも、幸いであった。数年後に再訪したい土地でもあるし、それがかなえば、次回も、同ホテルに滞在したい。

スイス、イタリアを旅行した１０日間で断トツに素晴らしいホテル
スイス、イタリアを旅行した１０日間で断トツに素晴らしいホテルだった。 天井、ドア等の木の彫刻、清潔感、スタッフの対応すべて満足できた。 イタリアで宿泊した５☆ホテルよりも断然よかった。 ホテルから見えるマッターホルンの景色も最高だった！
