Discovered that the room price was cheaper if I had booked through the hotel directly rather than through Cheap Tickets.

Great hotel in a great location
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was an excellent beginning to a day of hiking in a gorgeous part of the Swiss Alps, and the indoor pool was a nice way to wind down in the evenings. I highly recommend this hotel. Oh, and being the closest hotel to the train station was nice, too. I hope I can go back someday.

Great views and wonderful stay!
The Vic Lauberhorn was fabulous, but during breakfast we found the waiter to be unfriendly and unhelpful. The rest of the staff members were very efficient and helpful, and the facility was immaculate, with great views of the Alps!

Come prepared for a short train ride up the mountain to the hotel in Wengen, and the 2-hour train ride further up is worth the price for the views at the top of the Alps!
