Hotel Les Touristes is the oldest operating hotel in Verbier. Thanks to its location in the old village of Verbier, it is in contact with local traditions (cheese maker) and authentic architecture (barns, windmills). The atmosphere is familial, simple and rustic.
A bus TELEVERBIER takes the skiers free of charge to the central square and to the mechanical lifts Téléverbier.

This was by far the smallest room I have ever seen in a hotel. The room I had consisted of a tiny single bed (it was long enough though I am about 6' 1"), a sink, and a toilet. So the first annoyance was that the shower was shared among several
rooms, I think they might have rooms with showers but mine didn't include one. The second small annoyance was the location while it was in Verbier which is a plus you have to take a bus to get to the slopes and the one you need doesn't run too frequently the other option was a 15 minute walk up hill to the resort. Also the staff didn't speak very much English. Now that all of that is out of the way if you just want a cheap place to sleep in Verbier it will work if you want something nice don't stay here.
Hotel was very clean, but VERY basic. Room had a twin bed, sink, and toilet. Here was my entire experience: - Check-in was quick and friendly. Please note, this place is more like a B&B in that you deal with the owner, who is there all the time.
She does not speak ANY English (speaks French and possibly other languages) She gave me all the details I needed (bus to take to lift, times for continental breakfast, etc) and then left me alone. - Breakfast was bread, corn flakes, juice and coffee. No hot food offered, so plan accordingly. - Bedding was changed daily and rooms were cleaned. Never had an issue. - Checkout was a little complicated because of broken credit card machine, but ATM at bank across the street [...]. All in all, the place was great for someone travelling alone and looking for meager accomidations. You get what you pay for, but at the rate I got, this was perfect for me. Also, restaurant downstairs is OK. I would recommend eating in town, but in a pinch, the food is OK.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
The bus that takes you to the lift opperates exclusively on the schedule posted, and it always runs on time. Don't bother waiting for any busses off schedule.
