Not Shuttle to Airport
Be aware that even though it's advertised as "free shuttle to airport" there is no such thing. The hotel has a great location but it has stained ceiling, walls and worn carpet.

phantastic view, moderate service
Stayed two nights for Sundance Festival in June 2011. Were absolutely impressed by the 180° panorama view over the lake. There's also the opportunity for a swim right in fron of the hotel. Building is very old with bathrooms refurbished, modern furniture, but the carpet and windows really need to be redone. Only experienced service at breakfast and service was unattentive. Receptionist was unable to produce a second room key and when asking for a bottle-opener, he suggested getting one from a waiter at the restaurant rather than delivering one to the room.

take the steam boat to Vevey, then train S31 to Chexbres-Village and find your way to "Le Deck" at hotel Baron Tavernier. Classy lounge with a breathtaking view over lake Geneva

Tired Hotel
The location was great, but this hotel is very tired. The furnishings in the room and the lobby were shop worn. This was quite dissapointing.

Old world victorian style
Right on the lac. Nice views of the lake and surrounding mountains. This is an old hotel, although modernized. Most of the renovation is in the lobby, not in the rooms. Friendly staff. A bit expensive, but then again, it's Montreux. Free internet access via the TV in the room, if you don't have your own laptop. Internet-TV is awkward to use, but it works.

Château de Chillon is nice walk about two miles south of the hotel, along the lake. The château itself is interesting, but the promenade is far more interesting and spectacular.

It is 15 CHF by taxi from the railway station , 12 chf from hotel to staion,by taxi called by hotel. The driver did not charge anything, although he had to wait a little while while I checked out. Receptionist n telephone operAtor spoke good English. Only negative is need to who down to restaurant to get wifi connection,q Food is good though. Safe area to walk, and within 5 mins walk of shopping areas. Beautiful views too.

Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!
Sehr gute Lage genau neben dem Casino Montreux gelegen. Sehr sauber und mit grossartigem Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Schön grosse Hotelzimmer. Zur Bergseite hin sind die Zimmer aber ein wenig lärmig. Vor dem Hotel hat es zu wenig Parkplätze und sie konnten vom Internet aus nicht reserviert werden.

Schönes wenn auch ein bisschen
Schönes wenn auch ein bisschen altmodisches Hotel. Zentrale lage in der Nähe des Kasinos und dem See. Würde jederzeit wieder buchen.
