The Grand Hotel National, originally managed in the 1870s by Cesar Ritz with his chef Auguste Escoffier, combines tradition with comfort and is the perfect venue for business and holidays. Rooms are overlooking the lake and are individually designed in the original Fin du Sciecle style. Situated on the lakeside promenade, it offers easy access to the old city, all important sights, shopping and railway station.

Wonderful Hotel

This hotel was beautiful, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, and the view from our balcony was unbeatable. It would be nice if they offered transportation to the train station, but it was such a nice day that we didn't mind the walk.

Very beautiful hotel with nice

Very beautiful hotel with nice rooms and a very good restaurant. The view on the Lake Luzern is wonderful. The staff is also very kind. This is a real 5* palace ! An exceptional experience !

Heaven on earth

This was a classy, elegant hotel on the lake with great view of the Alps. It was everything a 5 star hotel should be.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Delightful restaurants a 5 minute walk from hotel. Most were very expensive but food and service was wonderful.
