Great location for the price!
The location of this hotel was great! Just a one minute walk to the train station and to the rest of Lucerne. If we went back to Lucerne, I would stay at this hotel again because it was so conveniently located to all of the sites. In addition, the room was very modern, clean and comfortable. The only draw back is that there is no view of the lake or sites. Our bedroom window opened to an alley/parking area. The breakfast buffet was adequate and was held in the hotel restaurant.

The Hotel Monopol is right around the corner from this hotel. At the top level of the hotel, they have a bar and terrace overlooking the lake and Lucerne. It was definitely worth it to go up there and enjoy a drink.

Excellent htel in a great location. Hot breakfast choices were limited, perhaps refecting the fact that they are primarily a business hotel. Prices were high, but no moreso than anywhere else in Switzerland.

The hotel is in a great location,

a nice hotel which is excellently
a nice hotel which is excellently located the room was small for 3 people bu that is a functio of the location and the fact that most europena hotels have trouble accomodation a 3 perosn party. I think this hotel is a must it is next to the chapel bridge, old town and the Rosengarten Museum

Newly renovated. Pleasant atmosphere.
Great location near train and bus station. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Triple room was extra cot (comfortable) in room. Didn't spend much time in room, only one night, but great experience.

great location from the train station and really clean
It is a great little joint that is really close to everything in Luzern. We had a great time and the place is really clean and just barely remodeled with new everything, TV's, beds, bathrooms, etc. Its is quite small, but that is to be expected anywhere in Europe. Highly recommended

Shopping is everywhere. Dont buy the first thing you like, compare prices and you might find the same thing cheaper down the street.

Up close in Luzerne
The best selling point for the Best Western Flora is its proximity to the most scenic portions of the city. Our room's balcony with a few of the Watertower of the old bridge three properties away and a view of one church and three of the towers along the old city wall made gave the feeling of being a twenty four hour tourist. The lack of a direct elevator connection from the lower level parking garage that is shared with a department store led to this seventy year old having to drag his bags around the block. The dining room and much of the first floor other than the lobby was being refurbished and the parked trucks of the construction persons meant that there was no place to pull in and unload our bags. We would suggest that at least two spots be reserved for guests coming or departing since it was back through the department store on the way out. The room was of average size and comfort and the prices were comparable to other hotels close to the center of the city.
