- The small rooms are decorated in neutral shades with wooden furnishings in a traditional Swiss style. They are all in good condition though some of the furniture is rather old. The bathrooms, although rather small are in good condition too and quite modern in design.

A great place to stay in the Berner Oberland
While it was extremely convenient located just across from the West train station, we were surprised how quiet it was with windows closed. They give you a courtesy card for the bus, making it easy to go to the East station and on to the mountain resorts. Restaurants and shops are right there as is a small grocery at the train station.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
We ate dinner at Beebies right on the corner. They have an excellent chicken salad with reasonable prices. The staff there enjoy having fun.
