Interlaken

After the inconveniece of the volcano which curtailed my stay here last year, I decided to return. This is the best hotel I have stayed in. The hotel dates from 1491 and has loads of character, you may even get to sleep in the rom once occupied by Lord Byron. I was here in April for 8 nights and the pricing suited me. Most of the other guests appeared to be only there for one night or so. The rooms are clean and have a chalet style feel to them they are roomy and have the usual satellite TV, tea coffe making facilities etc. There was a small but adequate balcony just metres away from the the Aare river and is sitiated next to the Japanese gardens. The rail station - Ost - is only 10 minutes away and the town is the same in the opposite direction. I enjoed my breakfats to which offered both hot and cold food and plenty bread options. The staff were very helpful and all in al I thoroughly enjoyed it here.

Hotel is located 3 blocks from East Train Station. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Nice size rooms. Can buy tickets to Jungfrau at front desk. Decor needs updating. Water pressure from shower was weak.

Loved this Hotel, we had a great view and a very comfortable room. Breakfast was fantastic, a lot to choose from. The rooms were decorated in a traditional feel, but were very nicely done. Free internet in the rooms. Would definitely recommend.

this hotel is situated in the heart of the city and although it is old it is well kept and caters for the tourists. the breakfast is quite sustantial and the reception staff were exemplary apart from omitting our wake up call. definitely stay hear again as a base for the unbelievable surrounds.

We enjoyed our stay at the Interlaken Hotel, and it was very well located for everything we wanted to do. Pricing was reasonable, as reasonable goes for all hotels in Switzerland. Still quite pricey when compared to North America. We would stay here again.

４歳児の息子と３人でしたが、思った以上に部屋も広く、 エキストラベッドもちゃんと用意してくださり、とても快適に過ごせました。

ost駅から近く、登山鉄道や都市間移動のための電車にも乗りやすかったです。 部屋はバスタブ付きで清潔でした。ただバスタブとお手洗いを仕切る板が小さく、シャワー中にバスタブの外まで水が飛び散ってしまう点が気になりました。部屋の中に冷蔵庫がなかった点も不便でした。 それ以外は、全体的に設備がきれいで朝食もおいしく、スタッフの方々も親切だったのでとてもよかったです。
