Hotel Central Continental Interlaken Rooms
- Single North
- Single North Room is a nice room to the north with a view of the river. Room is equipped with a desk, sitting area, and bathroom with hairdryer.
- Single South
- Single Room South is a nice room to the south with a view of the river and the wonderful Jungfrau Mountain. Room is equipped with a desk, sitting area, and bathroom with hairdryer.
- Double North
- Double Room North is a nice and comfortable room to the north with twin beds and a view of the river. Room is equipped with a balcony (fourth floor without balcony), desk, sitting area, and bathroom with hairdryer.

Hotel Central Continental - Terrible
The Hotel Central Continental in Interlaken was a very big dissapointment. When we checked in the clerk was rude and did not offer any information about the area. We found out that the hotel was supposed to offer a guest card so that we could use the area transit system - when we inquired for the card we were told they could not be found. The room was dirty, the walls were marked and had small holes in them and there was no internet or A/C available. The downstairs lounge is an adult entertainment club (strip bar) - not very family friendly and attracts a bad crowd. We moved down the street to a very nice family owned hotel, Hotel Splendid, that was better priced, had free internet and breakfast included. The staff at Hotel Splendid was very warm and friendly and went out of their way to find us a room so that we could leave the Hotel Central Continental. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody.

Short walk from hotel
Check out Hotel Splendid just down the road towards the East station - very good value for the money. For great Thai food go to My Little Thai at Hauptstrasse 19 in Matten ( 5 minute walk from Hotel Splendid).
