The staff went out of her to hand us printouts of the train schedules for our trip to Zermatt. The breakfast was just great. The views from the room and the location of the hotel was brilliant.

All the shopping places and great fondue places were just walking, even the train station.

Expensive but not bad for Interlaken
Had a nice stay. Excellent staff and always helpfully. Just two blocks from West Interlaken train station. Good breakfast and dinner menu. Breakfast included in room rate. Had a clean and quiet economy room in rear with fresh air. You do not necessarily get what you pay for in Switzerland , but for Swiss standards this place is darned good and VERY comfortable.

Get the 21 bus almost in front to Interlaken Ost (east) train station. Runs every half hour
