Eigerblick Rooms

- The hotel consists of two buildings on either side of the quiet little road. The rooms in the main, older, building are medium sized and newly refurbished and though decorated in simple style are comfortable and clean. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition of course. The rooms in the newer building are much larger than those over the road, but are a little older. They are decorated in modern style with pale pastel colour schemes and are in very good condition too.

Good Location
We found Grindelwald to be an excellent location for hiking in the area. It's an easy commute to Lauterbrunnen and Interlacken. Hotel Staff were excellent and attentive. The breakfast was lovely and the chef spent time adding extra touches to each dish. There's a lovely patio you can sit on and look over the valley while drinking some wine and eating a light meal. They were offering three nights for the price of two and we found that to be a great deal. The hotel is showing it's age a little bit and the furnishing are typically Swiss in that they're functional and modern if not at all warm and fuzzy:-)

Short drive from hotel
Buses and Trains can get you anywhere you need to go. We went in late April and a number of shops and hotels were closed, but things were blessedly uncrowded!
