Four-star Geneva hotel with unique artful decor
Guests will not forget their first impression of Hotel Les Nations. A mural depicting the annual migration of cattle in the Alps covers one side of this seven-story building. This 71-room hotel is popular with business travelers heading to the United Nations and Red Cross offices in the nearby diplomatic district. Very Bad Experience
I booked for 2 adults and 1 boy but in the reservation was written for only 2 adults, because of a problem in the system. They wanted to charge me 50 dollars for the additional person when if I entered to orbitz, the price for 3 people was even less than what I was originally charged. The room was very small, there was not air conditioning and it was extremely hot. They charge 25$ for the parking but they did not have enough parking for their guests. The lift was so small that we had to make several trips with the luggage. For the price we paid USD 207.- it was really not a good value.

A 70s feel
The hotel presents itself in title and description as particularly close to the United Nations headquarters. This is not true. However, it still has a good location, since it is near the main Geneva station. The guest lobby is small, and the elevator is smaller. Also, there are no clocks there, so if you traveling from another country and staying a night, you could find yourself confused. The door keys are old fashioned and do not feel secure. Finally I was stretched with my head near the rug and found that it smelled unclean. Sorry.

NOTHING DELUXE HERE
VERY SMALL ROOM. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE. GOOD LOCATION AND BUS PASSES WERE THE ONLY PLUS. MAIDS WERE VERY EFFICIENT.

ok-too much furniture-no air-condition
The location wasn't bad--a walkable distance to main train station and restaurants(we were there on Sun.and everything is closed!). The hotel gives you bus passes for the day ,which is good to visit the lake,etc. The staff were very nice,but of course, not happy by my reaction at not having air-conditioning in our room--very warm and noisy to open window as we were on a main road! That and my husband not being happy at not having hotel parking available were down points,especially for a 4star hotel!

Average, but not at all bad
Technically, it's a four star hotel. It meets the formal criteria. But it is not luxurious. However, it's very efficient, breakfast isn't bad, and the bus stop is just across the road, so you'll be in the center of town in 10 minutes, courtesy of your free bus pass the hotel will provide you with, and a easy 10 minute walk puts you in front of the United Nations Palais des Nations.

Central Hotel
Very clean Hotel with great personnel to attend our every need. The Hotel is also near most of the attractions and the Hotel provided us with Bus passes for the entire stay.

I stayed 5 nights and would stay
I stayed 5 nights and would stay at this hotel again. It's walking distance to the CICG and Varambe Conference center. Bus 5,8 and 3 to city center (with free ticket at check-in for all public transport). POSITIVE: Spacious rooms, very clean, removable shower head, fast service at breakfast, friendly staff, automated door opener at entrance, gym classes at fitness club includig BodyBalance, sufficient supply of shampoo and shower gel. NEGATIVE: WiFi in room at extra cost (15 CHF/3h), small shower with curtain instead of glass wall, lift door doesn't open easily on ground floor, tired decor.
