Central Geneva hotel with unique swinging appeal
Hotel Cornavin offers an idyllic location in central Geneva, just a few steps away from the train station. This chic hotel offers 164 comfortable rooms furnished with modern design. With its convenient location in the city, guests can easily reach banks, commercial establishments not to mention the scenic lake nearby. Not recommended for people with CAR'S
terrible access to Hotel if you have a vehicle, Not recommended. And air conditioning was not working in our room.

Even though we booked double Bed....
Even though we booked double Bed.... the check in staff was kind enough to provide us Triple. We also got Free travel voucher from Hotel. The location is the best part.. its Just outside to Geneva Railway station.

Good hotel very good as far as
Good hotel very good as far as location is concerned. Train station, buses and trams very close. Do not have free WI-FI. Nothing special about breakfast. Front staff is excellent, very helpful and willing to go miles to help.

The hotel is very conveniently
The hotel is very conveniently located adjacent to the hub of the transport system giving easy access to the airport, down town, and the UN precinct. It has been recently refurbished in a clean modern style. It is reasonably priced by Swiss standards, but breakfast and wifi are rather expensive extras.

great location
if you fly into Geneva, you can get a free rail voucher from a dispenser in baggage claim for travel into town (train will say Lausanne, the first stop is Gare Cornavin). Exit the Cornavin rail station and immediately to your right is the Hotel Cornavin. Thankfully, Swiss railroads are pretty quiet although the one downside of the hotel is the amount of noise a neighbor can generate. okay value breakfast (for Geneva) at 19 Swiss francs and it starts at 6:00 am, very friendly staff who are multi-lingual. Computer/internet is not free, but they were very nice in not charging when I had connectivity issues.

Short walk from hotel
you only have to get a block away from Rue Mont Blanc for decent value restaurants--there's no need to pay $50 for an average steak with fries. Try the North African, Thai, Vietnamese or other ethnic places.

Great location
We stayed here one night before our flight out of Geneva. The location was perfect as we arrived by train and walked less than a block to the hotel. The hotel provided a bus pass that served as free transit on the #5 bus to the airport the next morning (fast 15" ride on a Saturday - may take longer during the work week). The exterior appearance belies the modern room facilities. The room was clean and spacious; the staff was pleasant and helpful.

Convenient, nice room
Next door to train station, good sized room and fairly quiet although it faced the street. I would stay there again for business in downtown Geneva. There are several trains per hour to the airport, a short convenient ride.
