The Hotel Comedie offers you the friendly, peaceful and convivial atmosphere of its 28 smoking/non-smoking rooms each with private bathroom, cable TV, direct phone line with fax modem socket, alarm clock (phone) and safety box. Free Wi-Fi Internet access in all rooms and common areas.Only breakfast is served but tea & coffee-making facilities, drinks, fridge, laundry/dry cleaning and hairdryer are also available on request. All major credit cards are accepted. The Hotel Comedie is ideally located near the centre of Geneva, the Old Town, the University, the Theatres, the Banks and the Hospital. Surrounded by many restaurants, bistrots and shops, the Hotel is only 60 metres from the bus and tram stops and a large underground car park. A free public transportation card will be provided to all guests upon arrival.

Disappointed

The bed was small for someone of 6ft, there were twins, not a double. I asked for a non-smoking room, but the whole floor stank of cigs, and therefore my room smelt too. Not good for an ex smoker! The room and bathroom was a decent size, but no tea making facilities. Hotel advertised free wifi, which worked on the first night i was there. It then failes, and was not fixed in the remaining 3 days of my stay. A problem as i needed it for work. Staff did not get this and offered zero compensation. Breakfast was limited to croissants, a loaf of bread, jams, a bit of processed ham, and some cheese. The tea was good. Overall, I feel let down by this. Woefully inferior to similar rated hotels I have used in Paris. I recommend you go somewhere else.
