hotel to keep away from in geneva.
This hotel is not worth for the 1500 s francs a night. We were in geneva for a family vacation with our two children age 21 yrs and 15 yrs. since we wanted the view of the fountain we checked in this hotel. To start with the the people at the reception were very abrupt, unfriendly,arrogant and rude. We were given two rooms on the 3 rd. floor that were very mediocre facing the lake. One of the room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, in spite of the hotel having all non smoking rooms. The same room had a non functional Air conditioner, which the hotel engineers could not repair.We complained about this at least 4 times and no one attended to it.They did not offer to relocate us to another 2 rooms because we needed to be with our children.We had 2 miserable nights at this hotel in spite of paying a lot for this rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to any one fromUSA. Most of the guests in this hotel are from united emirates and they probably are not insistent and so the hotel gets away with poor quality.

Don't stay at this hotel
We have been travelling through Europe for two weeks staying at five star hotels, most suites we booked averaged USD 600 per night, however this hotel was USD 800-00 and was a pitiful small box room called "delux suite" internal view of court yard! Location was ok and food was ok. But you can get a real suite with lake views for USD 600 at other Geneva hotels.

Comfortable stay - recommended!
We have visited Geneva Motor Show and stayed at Kempinski with friends. [...] I appreciate quiet room despite the trafic outside and beautiful morning view on the lake, very friendly hotel staff meeting all our needs and delicious breakfast.

Fantastic Italian restaurant ROBERTO recommended by the hotel concierge service. Quite expensive, but probably Best in town! (15 min. walk from the hotel Kempinski along the lake)
