Paradise on Earth
Spent Christmas 2009 here (Xmas Eve to 29th Dec). Splendid views of mountains, village, snow, skiers, Christmas atmosphere in car park from Hotel bedroom with balcony view. Highly recommend this type of room as rooms were small, but warm, clean, comfy. Fantstic views made up for this. Beautiful little Winterwonderland village to stroll through. Food good and great menu for Christmas. Staff very helpful. Peaceful and quiet yet quaint and relaxing. Would highly recommend this hotel for romantic breaks or any other reason.

Buy a Swiss Rail Pass. Excellent value. Enjoy a sleigh ride from this hotel. Visit Mt Titlis. Highly recommend this hotel for romantic stay and views of the snow clad Swiss Alps. Would recommend upgrade to room with a balcony as rooms are small

Spent Christmas 2009 in this hotel, found it on the internet. EXCELLENT choice. Fabulous views from bedroom balcony. Fantastic location, very central. Great food and good menu selection. Staff very friendly and helpful. Visited Mt Titlis from here, went for sleigh ride. Wonderful Christmas and New Year in this Hotel. Memories of a lifetime for my partner and myself. Highly recommend to anybody. Engelberg is fantastic
