- By air The hotel is located at a distance of approximately 80 miles from the Zurich-Kloten International Airport (ZRH). The direct train ride to Bern takes 75 minutes. The hotel is located only 6 miles from Bern's local airport (BRN) with direct flights to Birmingham, Brussels and Munich. The journey by shuttle bus or taxi to the city center takes approximately 20 minutes. By public transport take the number 12 trolley bus from the main train station in the direction of Bern Lnggasse. Get off the bus at Mittelstrasse and turn right onto Mittelstrasse. The entrance to the Sorell Hotel Arabelle is located on the left-hand side of the street. The walk from the main train station to the hotel takes approximately 10 minutes. As no parking spaces are available at the hotel, hotel recommends parking your vehicle in one of the public car parks and purchasing the necessary parking tickets from the hotel.

The location of the hotel is very
The location of the hotel is very convenient with only a <10 min walk or short bus to the main train station and old town. It is located in close to the university and the surroundings are very nice. The rooms have all recently been refurbished and the breakfast room is just about to re-open (early Aug 2011). Highly recommended.

This hotel is in the university quarter of the city, so there are lots of cheap eats (for Switzerland) nearby.

Reasonable price and location
The Arabelle Hotel was a 10 minute walk from the train station and is also just around the corner from a bus stop. It has a nice buffet breakfast with restaurants nearby for other meals. There was also free internet use for guests in the lobby. Friendly staff.

The info station at the Rail Center told me this hotel was a 20 minute walk, but it is barely 10 minutes down Langgasse - also on the bus route.
