- The medium-sized bedrooms are simply decorated in neutral shades. All have the facilities one would expect from a hotel of this standard. The rooms are in good condition, as are the bathrooms.

Clean and comfortable
I stayed in a lot of hotels in Switzerland at various places, and this one was probably the best for the price. It was very clean and comfortable. It was very convenient to get to from the train station (walking distance easily, even with suitcases) and had a nice view onto the street and roof tops. The only small downside was we had a street room, and it could be a bit noisy at night. Su d carrys very well with the stone street and walls. They also had a very pleasant buffet breakfast.

Loud but room was fine
You have to wonder about a room that comes equipped with ear plugs! It was very very noisy but the breakfast was good, the room is clean and large for a single and the location is fine. Of course, Bern is small to begin with so maybe any location would have been ok. Everything is Switzerland is expensive so the price was probably ok as well. Free wireless would have been nice.

Can't beat the location
Excellent location, close to all the attractions, short walk to all the restaurants and shopping. A short walk from the train station and very helpful staff.
