Basel nice stay
Very nice Swiss hotel, nice location, nice personnel, first class breakfast; simple, beautiful, sophisticated style and furniture. This is what an hotel should be. The only little recrimination is the sauna, not checked or controlled, no termometre, no hygrometre, no instructions: it should be better organized.

Nice Hotel
Booked the hotel for Faschnacht. The advertised price for the hotel and final charges nearly doubled the cost of the hotel ([...] fault). Definately not worth the price per night. No special amenities, bathrobes, conditioner, etc. Although the view was great, rooms clean and simple.

modern hotel at a reasonable price
We stayed for two days at the Basel Ramada. It is the tallest building in Basel and is located in the new section of the city. The hotel offers guests a free pass on Basel's fine tram and bus system. It is get on-get off and only once were we asked to show the pass. The hotel gave us a very clear map of the system, which made getting around the city quite easy. The Ramada is quite modern, in fact the decor and arrangements were starkly, but comfortably modern. There is a 30th floor lounge with a great view over the city. Unfortunately, it was only open one of the twoi days we were there. I felt the price, for a European hotel, quite acceptable. The fact that the hotel is so prominent on the skyline was helpful. There were excellent restaurants in close proximity to the hotel.

the hotel was a reasonable walk from the Rhine river and there were many restaurants, from McDonalds to haute quisine, aling the way.

Hôtel très bien situé, en face
Hôtel très bien situé, en face d' un arrêt de tram. Les chambres sont petites mais confortables. Décoration moderne, grandes baies vitrées donnant sur la ville. Nous y retournerions volontiers.

gutes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern.
gutes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Bei mehreren Besuchen allerdings immer ein Problem mit dem Bad (verstopfter Abfluss, schlechter Geruch, nicht richtig funktionierende Dusche). Gute Lage bei Messe und in Gehdistanz von Alstadt. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet
