Awesome hotel

Only downside is the music from the bar below. On the other hand there is a great bar below the Hotel. Go down for a drink in your pj's. We were on the third floor, you could feel/hear the bass but not enough to keep you from sleeping. Stayed in the standard room, plenty of space, huge by European standards, waterfall shower, it was awesome. Service was great, we scored free wraps from the hostess one night. The key code to get into your room is also cool and convenient. The old elevator next to the modern talking one is a novel alternative. Would stay again and recommend to friends

Funky and dark decor, but fun

Our room was very small, but I think there were larger choices, just not available when we reserved. The 'check-in area" was the hallway on the way to the elevator, and there was a computer for people to check themselves in if they had made a reservation directly thru the hotel. Room "keys" were a number code for the door lock of your room. We required an actual person to check in because we booked thru an outside agency, but that was easily done. The hotel seemed dark and they don't use a lot of light in either their foyer, bar or restaurant, nor halls but they were all very warm and inviting nonetheless. Breakfast, (included) was good and the bar had live music on some nights. We did not have any dinners there, but it was always busy so I assume it was good. I would definitely stay there again, but if I were staying for a long time, or had a lot of luggage, I would try and reserve a larger room.

hidden gem

Really great location for exploring the sights, especially convenient for boat trips from Nybroplan. Looks like nothing from the road but a hidden world inside with great outdoor terrace at the back of the hotel. This is perfect for relaxing (in the summer!) after a hard day walking around Stockholm. Rooms are very clean and beautifully designed with quirky art. Lovely large wet room with heated floor for those chilly winter days.

A Perfect Story

The hotel is in the perfect central location giving you easy access to Central Station, Stureplan bars/clubs/restaurants, the Royal Palace, etc. Don't bother wasting your money on a cab or metro ride, it's a nearly straight 10/15 minute walk from Central. The check-in process is completely automated, something we did not discover until after check-out because the staff is so friendly and attentive. Rooms are a standard European size, with great modern flair and a massive bathroom. Pin-code access to the room means not having to carry around any keys/key cards. The 2nd floor garden bar is a great way to start the night, although the drinks can be a little pricey.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

On Saturdays in the summer, a lot of the cafes along the water (Wallensberg torg) play really great music in the late afternoons into the night. These become fun outdoor lounges where the drinks are really reasonable before going out to the bigger bars.
