Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

We chose this hotel for our Honeymoon. We splurged on the place since it was 5 Stars since this was a once in a lifetime trip for us. Please save your money. The location was fantastic, but that's about it. The rooms were nice..that's it..nice. Nothing spectacular. We ate in the hotel restaurant the 1st night, it was extremely expensive and the food was totally underwhelming. Also, the service was terrible. It took over 25 minutes to get water and another 10 to get alcohol. We also ordered room service 1 night..they have a rule that it will take 30 minutes or less or its free. Well, it took them 40 minutes to deliver our food, but kept insisting that it only took them 30 minutes. We asked them to pull the phone records and they refused so we had to pay for the meal. We also used a phone card to make phone calls, but still had to pay for using the phone! They also put on our bill that we taken items from the mini fridge (we had not). So, make sure to check out your bill carefully before we leave. They also did not do anything special for our honeymoon, which was disappointing...something like a "congratulations" card would have been nice or something special to make our honeymoon more enjoyable.

The hotel was great, I was there for only 3 nights but got to see a lot of the sites. The location is exceptional a 3-5 minute walk from Central Station and just across a bridge from the old town. The room was gorgeous without looking cheap. Very elegant and gorgeous room. Large number of options for movies/tv etc. Will stay there next time I am in Stockholm.

We got a great deal when booking this hotel. It was walking distance to everything - only 45 mins to Skansen (must see!!!!). No bath. Free internet in lobby was great. Big room.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Sheraton. The room was large and very nice with an exellent bed. The staff were always friendly, and we got breakfast at a good price as well as the hotelstay.

Location of the hotel was great, right in front of the Stockholm central, and within walking distance from the old town. Room was spacious and clean, and staff was friendly. Two things I have noticed is that 1) there should really be more staff at the front desk, because it was always crowded and check in/out took forever 2) no free breakfast, internet, although the price of room was quite expensive. My other collegues who stayed at nearby other hotels (about same price) had those included, so I felt a bit cheated.

I'm there for a conference. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Impressively they are flexible. Someone charged me a bottle of water which I didn't have. They took the charge off as soon as I told them.

Nice to be there, but WLAN (internet) should have been a part of the included facilities.

Mostly OK for a chain hotel. Friendly staff and good service. The en-suite was a shower with a partial partition. Unfortunately the floor outsideof the immediate shower area drained the wrong way straight onto the wooden floor of the room. Don't change more than the bar minimum of currency at the hotel, the rates are appalling. I needed small cash for taxis etc and changed €50 which yielded 467.5SEK a bit short of typical yield of around €495.

A great location to explore the old town, museums and sightseeing boats. Also close, easy walking distance, to the rail and bus stations if you are using public transport.
