Prime location for cultural outings at the modern hotel
In the midst of vibrant Sodermalm, the family-friendly Malmen Scandic is a fantastic assembly of modern hotel, lively amenities and plenty of action to keep the whole family happy. Within walking distance are phenomenal venues such as Mosebacke, Sodra Teatern and Debaser. This district boasts some of the best Stockholm boutiques -- from vintage apparel to trendy home furnishings. With its own fine restaurant and two hopping bars, the Malmen Scandic is an excellent lodging choice for those interested in enjoying the opulent Stockholm cultural life.Scandic Malmen Rooms

- Our rooms are between 12-15 squared meters equipped with armchair, table, working area, bathroom with shower, hair dryer and iron board. Either single bed, twin or queen bed.
- Superior
- The superior rooms are between 15-35 squared meters. The rooms have wooden floor, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, iron board and wireless Internet. Either two beds and wallbed or sofabed - for familys -or queen bed.
- Cabin
- Our cabins have no window so we can assure you that you sleep good at night. The cabins are fully equipped with shower, wireless Internet, hair dryer, ironboard and a working area. Queen or twin bed.
- Suite
- Our suites are between 25-35 squared meters with wooden floor. Equipped with armchairs, sofa, table, working place and two TV:s. Bathroom with shower or bathtub. Queen bed and sofabed.

Fun place to stay!
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in March of 2013. The hotel has a very cool vibe - great design in lobby and in hotel room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was great as it is a short walk to the Galma Stan area.

Room not complete a lot of traffic noice
The bar and restaurant was good, personel very friendly and helpfull but the room was without a bad, and net to the street with a lot of noice. didn't sleep well.

Trendy hotel on Södermalmen
Neat and trendy hotel at a good location on Södermalmen. Easy to travel to using public transportation, since the subway stop is almost beneath the hotel. On the down side, there's a bit of subway noise that could be heard easily at least on the 2nd floor. Room was neat and trendy, service was ok and breakfast was good. Location is great if you're going to attend a concert or some other event at Debaser Medis, which is precisely across the street.

The rooms were VERY small and the amenities where very few. The TV was small. The good think is it's location and bars.

hotelroom was 2 grounds below
hotelroom was 2 grounds below streetlevel with no window. bed was very small, the floor was falling apart. the staff was very short and a bit of rude. but the worst was the aircondition was broken, woke up in the hight and it was really freezing!

Short drive from hotel
Stockholm in the winter is wicked cold. Drinks are insanely expensive and not that strong for the most part.

Malmen rocks
My room was underground with no window. Small euro type room with very little storage for clothing. It was noisy at night when the nightclub was open. Great location for getting around the city.

Angenehmes Hotel in excellenter Lage
Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem belebten Platz in Södermalm. Werde gerne wieder dort nächtigen!
