The hotel is in a location distant from the major sites and neighborhoods. The subway station is St. Eriksplan, which is a substantial walk away itself. Not at all convenient, and forget it after the subway closes-- you will have to walk a
marathon (or the vasaloppet if it's winter), or pay dear for a taxi.
This is the area of Norrtul (the very top of Vasastan), which while safe, lacks any character and has a lot of concrete barriers, and freeway entrances. Not pretty, and my room was very noisy from the traffic. Don't confuse Vasastan with Gamla Stan, the old town.
The hotel itself is a converted office building. They apparently kept the old office carpets too, which are stained and tatty, even in the rooms. The feel of the place is pretty depressing and drab. It advertises non-smoking, but my floor had a balcony on which the smokers blasted everyone day and night with their filth.
Parking was $25 a night, cramped garage. Air con didnt exist and it was hot. Had to get a fan from front desk. TV message system didnt work.
All in all, I would pass on this poorly located and depressing place. Go for Elite Stockholm Plaza in Stureplan, very much nicer and great location.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
Hötorget and Östermalmstorg have great food halls, which close at 5 pm. Eating dinner in Stockholm is horrendously expensive and not that tasty for the price, compared to the USA. Get a great meal at the foodhalls and skip dinner to save your wallet.
