Quiet and pleasant place to stay. Quite modest breakfast options but correct. Internet access for free! Very close to the railwaystation and also close to the historical city center.

Good value.
Room was large and comfortable. Heard loud voices from people outside until middle of the night. Breakfast was good.

Interesting Castle
We were on the way from Gothenburg to Stockholm Sweden. [...].We arrived late on a Sunday, so be aware that the town seems to close up early. The breakfast was reasonable and large as typical for Sweden. They do not believe in "continental" breakfast. They have a full venue of vegetables, meats, eggs, cereal, breads, juices, and yogurt for breakfast. The hotel provides coffee and cookies at all hours. There is no spa or pool on-site.The room was small, but clean and the TV had limited channel selection, but then again you do not expect to spend much time in the room. They have hard wire internet in the room but the wireless is in the reception area only.The interesting thing is that the shower just has s drain in the floor without a separated area from the toilet and sink. The curtain kept the water from spraying. Maybe this is a European format, but something to be aware of.Also be aware that getting to the parking is certainly somewhat interesting with the access being very narrow for a car.The area was interesting with the Lacko Castle, approximately 1.5 hours away and certainly worth visiting.Orebro is a large University town. There is a culinary institute located there, but we did not visit it.All in all, the hotel was reasonably priced and pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Orebro Castle is just down the street from the hotel and within walking distance. Certainly worth visiting. There are a number of malls within a few miles of the town. There is an Ikea near Orebro. If you're from the US, it's pretty much like any other Ikea, but you can say you were there. BTW, Garmin said that the closest Ikea was 30+ miles, but in fact it's less that 5 miles.

Never ever again
Well...... Room dirty, bathroom very dirty. Furniture old, minibar empty. Dishes very dirty, pretty hard to find a clean spoon for breakfast. Nightmare. Friendly young lady at the reception at least.
