Nice hotel
This hotel was probably the best we stayed in on a recent Scandinavian vacation. The room was a nice size (compared to other European hotels), and the service was very good. The location is a bit farther from the city center than other Lund hotels. Without a car,we planned on using the bus system only to find out that the bus would not come out to this hotel before 9:30 am on weekends and after 10 pm. The hotel, however, did have free bikes to borrow, but they were hard to come by. It seems the hotel did not ask people to return them at the end of the day. The breakfast buffet could not be beat, though. The variety of food was pretty amazing and a great way to try some traditional Swedish food when traveling on a budget.

A wonderful, pleasant hotel for all!
My husband and I had a 10-day self-guided vacation in the Southern Sweden and Northern Denmark in June. We stayed in this Scandic Star Lund Hotel during our visit of Lund. We are so pleased with our stay in this fantastic hotel. True, everything was surprisingly fantastic -- great location to downtown; the spotless clean, quiet room; well-equipped fitness center (nice indoor pool); free internet access; broad, relaxed, interesting-looking lobby; 24-hour coffee, etc. It's a wonderful hotel for all -- business, family with children, couple, or friends travel. I highly recommend it to everyone.
