New Rica Hotel No. 25 is a personal and vibrant hotel with a sense of a living room where all guests will feel at home. During 2010-11, the hotel has been totally renovated, renamed and given a whole new interior design - a playful, modern and warm environment that is constantly changing in the form of exciting exhibitions. You will find a nice relaxed atmosphere and the friendly staff will make sure you feel well looked after. Sit by the fire, read a newspaper and make yourself at home. The location offer Gothenburg's best shopping, restaurants and a rich cultural life within easy reach. Our breakfast buffet is developed together with the Swedish Culinary Team and gives you a large variety of both hot and cold dishes, whether you give priority to health or everyday luxury. The hotel's 112 rooms are decorated in bright Scandinavian colors and equipped with comfortable Jensen beds. The hotel offers free wireless Internet access, four star standard and are certified with the Nordic eco-label. The personal hospitality, "home feeling" and the very central location will make your experience into something special. You're welcome to check in from 3 p.m., and please check out by 12 noon on departure. If you arrive earlier, or are leaving later, you can leave your luggage in the Hotel's luggage room by reception. You can book an earlier check-in or later departure for a charge (SEK 100 per hour, minimum of three hours). Breakfast is always included in room rates, and served in the dining room by the lobby on weekdays between 6:30 and 09:30 a.m. * and between 7:30 and 11:00 a.m.* on weekends. For a charge, you can also treat yourself to breakfast in your room. Wireless broadband is included in room rates, and you can log in with your name and room number from your browser. If you don't have a computer with you, there's a guest PC with Internet access available for a fee from reception. Paid parking is available on Burggrevegatan, at Akareplatsen (approx. 200 m) or Odinsplatsen (approx. 200 m). *Breakfast opening hours may vary during certain major public holidays.

All rooms are decorated in modern Scandinavian design with comfortable queen, grand lit or twin beds, which also offers flat screen TV and a small refrigerator. In addition to make your stay more enjoyable we have added bathrobes and slippers in your room.

The Hotel is some 300 m from Drottningtorget square and the Central Station. If you're arriving by air to Landvetter Airport, we recommend the airport coaches to the Nils Ericson Terminal at the Central Station, where it's only some 300 m walk to the Hotel. Take the Drottningtorget exit, left past the GP building and follow the railway line for 200 m along Burggrevegatan, where you'll see the Hotel on your right. [GPS-coordinates] Paid parking is available on Burggrevegatan, at Akareplatsen (approx. 200 m) or Odinsplatsen (approx. 200 m). Local buses depart from the Central Station, and there is a tram from Drottningtorget opposite the Central Station. We recommend environmental taxis (Taxi Gothenburg), which you can book from reception.

Very convenient location

Single room was small but comfortable, with a good size (double) bed. Ultramodern design with superb bathroom fittings. Everything you need. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Ask for room on the "backside" to avoid any traffic noise - very quiet.

nice hotel, walls were rather thin

I was in transit, looking for a hotel near the central station, and this one had a reasonable price. The room was nice, but the walls were very thin: I could hear people in the hallway and noises from the other rooms, which was a bit annoying. I paid for the hotel on Orbitz, but the staff wasn't paying attention and they charged my credit card at check-in, which of course they had to cancel.

The hotel staff were great. breakfast

The hotel staff were great. breakfast buffet was very good a wide choice. the superior room i booked was on the small side would not like to see what the standard looked like. was given a room at the front of the hotel was very noisy with the main rail tracks very close to the front of the hotel Nice hotel great staff but wont stay their again.

This hotel is only a short walk

This hotel is only a short walk from the Station and is a good facility for the price. The only potential problem would be that trains pass right outside, but since Goteborg is an end-line station they are not going fast and not too loud.

Looked like a building site outside,

Looked like a building site outside, the beds could hav been larger. Otherwisw very helpful and friendly staff, clean and a very good breakfast.

Nice hotel in Gothenburg

Rica Hotel No 25 is totally renovated in summer 2011 and you could really see it in the nice rooms and facilities. Location is great with 5 mins walking to central station and around 10 minutes to the large Shopping Avenue. Breakfast Buffet included in the price and very good and large selection.
