Modern rooms with extra facilities in a prime location in Valencia
Located in the most modern part of Valencia, the Tryp Oceanic Hotel reflects its modern setting with modern, minimalistic décor in the guestrooms and public areas. GREAT HOTEL AND GOOD VALUE

THE NEW CORTE INGLES STORE/MALL IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL. BUSSES RUN EVERY 20 MINUTES GOING INTO TOWN. THE BEAUTIFUL CIUDAD DE ARTES Y CIENCIA IS ACROSS THE STREET. WE RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY. A wonderful stay at a lovely hotel - if I had to find any fault it would be there wasn't enough sun beds / chairs around the lovely pool and the ones there were not that comfortable - but all in all a great experience.Please note I stay in many hotels worldwide - especially Europe - but this is the first time i have bothered to respond to a Hotel Survey - Valencia - the undiscovered fantastic city of Europe !!!

Tryp Oceanic - Valencia
I stayed at the Tryp Oceanic for about 4 nights in Nov. 2011. Check-in was easy as the front desk staff all speak English. I don't hardly speak any Spanish, and I had a very easy time at this hotel. They called cabs for us, told us the good places to eat near the beach, recommended places in the city to go, made sure there was availability on the train back to Madrid...and the best part is it was only 62 euros. The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach where all the restaurants are...and its within walking distance of the city of arts and sciences. I just looked for a new hotel at a reasonable price. The staff made this hotel extremely easy. I would definitely go back to Valencia and stay at this hotel.

Easy walking distance to the Calatrava buildings and the Palau de Musica.et my needs for relatively inexpensive accomodation close to my conference

tryp oceanic- 3 stars, not 4
this hotel has an AMAZING location! just perfect for valencia. we really liked the hotel but the staff was not very helpful. they were not rude, but just did not seem wiling to help the customers and ensure a pleasant stay. the rooms were also a bit outdated. although the bathroom was a bit small, it was well-equipped. overall, we liked the hotel but were not overly impressed. i would, however, recommend it to others.

there is a small bar/restaurant on calle ruzafa called R38 that has amazing arrozes and paellas for 4 euro!

Super hotel pour un city trip à Valence
Hotel très bien situé juste en face de la cité des arts et des sciences et à mi-chemin entre le centre et la plage (bus 19 pr s'y rendre en 5mn). A 15mn de l'aéroport en taxi (environ 20€). Chambre très confortable et très belle salle de bain hyper bien agencée! Chambre au 7è étage, vue piscine (petite mais sympa) Assurez vous d'avoir une chambre non fumeur car odeur très forte!! (2ème étage à éviter - on a demandé pr changer de chambre directement, il n'y a pas eu de problème) Petit-déjeuner buffet très varié et très copieux, on s'est régalés. Si vous aimez le shopping, super grand centre commercial à 2 pas. Pour le soir, supers petits resto dans les ruelles de la vieille ville,entrée+paella+dessert pour 12€ et très bon! Aussi restos et ambiance à la marina près du port.
