Comfortable hotel next to Nuevo Centro mall has rooftop pool, dining

Expo Hotel Valencia
This hotel was clean and comfortable. Fifteen minutes of free internet, and a small charge after that. There is a short bus ride to the city center, and it requires no transfers. The same bus brings you back. This hotel is right in front of a large mall, and there are plenty of places to eat there. The Twin beds were not the most comfortable matresses in the world, but it stil was comfortable. Overall, lots of shopping and food real close, and a short bus ride to the city center. I would stay there again.

Good Value, but generic.
Recommended for value, although it lacks the charm a tourist might desire. This high-rise hotel appears to have been originally built to attract the upscale business traveler but as it has aged, now seems to cater equally to tourists & families. Some may find the facility a little tired & worn, but room was very clean & bright and all room amenities were quite serviceable. Importantly, the mattress was firm and comfortable and the window opens (unusual in a building this large), which are my two top criteria in any hotel room.Hotel location is convientent for arrival by car or metro (at the Turia stop on the yellow line #1) adjacent to the park that used to be a river. An easy walk to the old city center: 1km to the west gate, 1.8km to the Plaza de la Virgen. Indoor, public parking is conveniently located adjacent to the hotel (at a typical urban price). The plaza between the hotel and El Corte Ingles department store has many places to eat. Plenty of taxis wait in front of the hotel.Front desk staff were friendly, professional, and fluent in English. Reserved the morning before arrival [...] at a great price. Only stayed one night before moving to our next destination.

Decent
The hotel is a decent place. The restaurant onsite was a little pricey, but the meals were buffet and the food pretty decent. The beds are stiff and the walls a little too thin, I needed some earplugs to sleep. But overall a decent hotel with a good location.

Spent only one night there, but for the price it was a nice hotel. One of the two out of 5 hotels that I booked that actually gave me the double bed that I asked for. Would have liked to stay longer to try out the pool but didnot, nor did I try the breakfast. A bit far from the city centre but very close to Turia metro station.

Was expecting sth much better
Was expecting sth much better after reading the last 5 ratings on here.. very standard room & bathroom, felt like in a better Hostal! Nothing special at all. Sure not going there again!

Great for the price
This hotel had a really great location. It´s like 2 minutes walk to a matero stop and about 5 minutes to the autobus stop. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They give you a map and a book and everything and answer all your questions. The only bad thing I didn´t like was that there was no iron for me and also the internet timing was messed up. The tracker/clock that they use does not always work right. They did give me a free hr but I lost about 20 hrs of internet which I had paid for.

Short walk from hotel
Instead of buying breakfast there is a supermarket right next door to the hotel where you can pick up stuff and it´s so much cheaper. You can also use the minibar for your own use and just enpty out the hotel stuff. It´s cheaper to buy the things in the supermarket.

Nice hotel, in a good location.
Nice hotel, in a good location. Two minutes walk to the Metro station and park; shopping mall and some restaurants right at the hotel. Hotel has pool on the roof, with lots of sun beds, just missing some umbrellas. Nice restaurant and bar as part of the hotel. Rooms could be a little bigger, but who goes to Valencia to sit in their room!
