This hotel in the historic city of Tui, on the Portuguese border, is a faithful reproduction of a pazo or Galician country house, in a setting of mountains and rivers. This establishment is ideal for sports and activities in natural surroundings. With its granite walls and floors, ceilings, beams and staircases of local chestnut wood, it recreates the typical pazo of the area. The gentle colors and rustic furniture create a welcoming, soothing atmosphere in the comfortable bedrooms. There is also a splendid swimming pool and a beautiful garden. The other amenity includes reception.

Peinador Airport Vigo-Pontevedra 25 km
The Parador is 1 km. from the center of Tui, on the banks of the river Mino, next to the bridge that leads to Portugal. From the North of Galicia, the main access route is the Autopista del Atlantico (A9) to Vigo, and the by the Autovia de las Rias Baixas until the last exit before arriving in Portugal (exit 172, Tui-A Guarda-O Rosal). Another option is the N-550, or from the rest of Spain, the A52 and the N-120, leaving the latter in Porrino and taking the Autovia de las Rias Baixas towards Portugal.
The food offered in the Parador is a treat for the most adventurous palates. Beef from Galicia, fish, rice with lobster, hake with Albarino wine, exquisite lampreys Tudense style, angulas al ajillo (eels, in season only), and San Ero cake are just a few of the delightful dishes hotel recommend. Albarinos are the stars of the wine list, as the Parador is close to many of the most important producers of this denomination.

Perched on the border between Spoain and Portugal, midway between Tuy in Spain and Valenca in Portugal, this is a magical place and the hotel has all the style and courtesy one would expect in a parador. The pool area does need to be smartened up,
as there are extensive gardens and they could be made to look much neater. The food was very good.
