In the beautiful and monumental city of Trujillo, you find this beautiful building on the convent of Santa Clara of sixteenth century, which provides the opportunity to enjoy a unique and unforgettable stay. Ideal for relaxation, leisure and work, Parador displays a comfortable interior under the protection of rooms and details of a monastic nature. Spacious lounge areas, stately rooms and a former church now used as a dining room to enjoy our regional gastronomic offer. The Parador houses in its interior a placid facades Renaissance cloister with three facades decorated with arches and Tuscan columns, which enhance its conventual beauty. In this cloister you find an outdoor patio where in summer you can enjoy the silence and tranquillity while enjoying our gourmet dishes. Another courtyard offers the ensemble a note of luminosity which embellishes the setting. Peace, clam and the monastic atmosphere survive throughout the building.

This was a great place for a quiet rest. Trujillo is a lovely small town, and is a good base to explore Extremadura, with Merida and Caceres within easy striking distance. This was the first time we had stayed at a Parador, and would do it again.
The building is an ex-convent, and is beautiful and full of character. The staff are helpful, and it is a very comfortable place to spend a few days.

Short walk from hotel
Food is quite expensive at the hotel, but we always had the Menu del Dia while we were out, and this is usually extremely good value.
