Charming, comfy little hotel
A really sweet restored 17th century bakery. Funky details, like exposed stone, brick and beams. Artfully combines the antique charm with hip design and modern luxuries. Very friendly and helpful staff. Extremely well located, right next to the El Greco museum. Nice touches, like providing guests with marzipan (it was invented in Toledo). Our room was quite small, but felt more snug than cramped.

Wonderful Room
Pintor el Greco is wondefully located and our room was fabulous. Large, modern and with a bathroom bitter than most which included a large whirlpool with room for two, double sinks and a separate shower. The only negative would be the lack of a view and it was somewhat dark. And, the only internet access, in the lobby, did not work but that was probably a good thing. The only reason we downgraded housekeeping was there was some granules of sand or something on the floor which I am sure they took care of for the next visitors as we were only there one night. The breakfast room looked very nice but we did not try it.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
The hotel recommended a restaurant that was named for the street it's on and the address (24). Was very pleasantly surprised by the upscale, creative take on local dishes, not boring and quite delicious. Highly recommended. Sorry I cannot remember the street name (it's something like Aliviferito), but it's number 24 and that should be enough for the hotel to direct you. Bon appetit!

Memorable, cool hotel
Very interesting hotel. It mixes modern touches with an antique, rustic feel in very creative ways. Stone walls. Modern TV, bathrooms, and amenities. Breakfast was great (and free with [...]). Location is tucked into the back of Toledo--it's a small and hard-to-walk town--but location was as good as any. A memorable stay and a great value.

Spain Traveller
Among the best
During our 2 1/2 week trip to Spain, this was by far the best value. Very comfortable, large rooms, huge bathrooms, great A/C and a great location. If we ever go back to Toledo (which I hope we do), we'll stay here. Really one of the highlights of the trip.
