Vincci Tenerife Golf

We passed 4 nights in that Hotel last week. Have to say that it is a nice Hotel, a little far from Los Cristianos and Las Americas Beaches, but those places can be reached by bus. The Rooms have a nice sea view and was big. Food was very nice and staff very helpful. It is a good place if you want to pass quite and relaxing holidays.

This "resort" wasn't a resort because of all of the rules and lack of amenities. No food or drink in the hotel room; no iron available except for airline personnel; no music or service at the pool; no staff at the spa or bar most of the time; mediocre food; no beach; the "heated pool" was only 73 degrees and we couldn't get them to raise the temperature; an extremely hard bed and flat pillow that made it difficult to sleep; an hours bus ride to the real tourist areas of Los Cristinos, Los Americanas, and Costa Adeja. They forgot to clean our room one day and didn't even apologize and offer to clean it - they sent towels at 9:00 PM and came at 8:30 the next AM when we were still in bed. Everything was an "It is not possible" instead of "Let's see what we can do." Southern Tenerife is filled with wonderful resorts with all the amenities that a guest could want, only not at Vincci Golf. There is great food at the shopping center across the street, but it doesn't make up for the lack of everything else. The listed amenities made it look great; however, it does not live up to the paper. We can hardly wait to go back next year, but it will definitely NOT be to Vincci Golf!

This is not a resort. Many, many ridiculous rules like no food or drink in the room, no iron except for the airline people, no coffee pot in room nor could coffee be brought in the room, pool heated to 23 degrees and called warm, no beach, mediocre food, absolute quiet everywhere, no staff at the spa or bar, and I could go on. It is located out of the main tourist areas and is hard to get there by bus - 1 hour on the milk route. We spent most of our time trying to get to where we should have stayed - Los Cristionos, Los Americanas, and Costa Adeje. We can hardly wait to go back next year, but it will definitely NOT be at Vincci Golf. PS The hotel staff were so unfriendly and unwilling to help that they bordered on rude. Their first response was "It is not possible." We travel all over the United States and Europe, and this is the worst "resort" that we have ever stayed in. PSS - an extremely hard bed and small room. PPS They forgot to clean our room one day and there was no apology or have a drink in the bar "on us" while we straighten up. Their idea of making it right was to bring up fresh towels and come the next morning at 8:30 while we were still in bed.

A lovely hotel, modern, comfortable and right on the sea front. Lots of bars and restraunts just over the road at San Blas centre. Great pool & view from the hotel. Extensive breakfast buffet. Very good value for the money.
