Great hotel
This hotel exceeded our expectations -- the location could not be better - the views are fantastic - the rooms are very chic and the bar on the roof is very cool. We are from Miami and this hotel made us feel right at home - because it is very SoBe. A few issues that the hotel management should improve --The staff was very nice but they were not on top of things - the rooms will be a problem for some people because beds are very low and there is a step that you can easily miss at night and fall - the adult programming was not blocked and that is a problem for people that are traveling with children. We will definitely stay there again and will recommend this hotel to other people- especially couples.

So much character and a great location!
It took awhile to get checked in as there was a problem with the air-conditioning and it was 99 degrees. They ended up relocating us after we had settled in our room because the air was still not working properly; but it was larger and had a great view of the cathedral tower! The only problem with the rooms facing the street...all the noise from the diners/tourists below. If this bothers you, ask for a room in a different part of this charming boutique hotel.

Good rooms. Inexperienced Staff
We went to Sevilla for vacations. The staff was very nice. The room was good and clean. Beautiful architecture. Good service, The problem is that the staff does not know the city pretty well ( I do speak spanish as my mother tongue) and they were too pushy for the guests to try their award winning gourmet restaurant. They did not have a clue about other restaurants in the area or how to get there.

MINIMALIST
I've been traveling past 2 weeks through Portugal and Spain and I have noticed two things one is OVERRATING of hotels. I do understand that European star rating does not compare to the world standards but this what is happening now is unbearable. I am sure that there is organization that should be taking care of that but they are doing a lousy job. Most of European hotels that you have listed do not conform to true hotel star raging standards. This hotel is a perfect example. Let me pose few questions that may simply be the proof that what I am saying is right.1. Do 5 Star hotels have to have a porter?!2. Do 5 star hotels have to have a closet in the room with hangers (or space for clothing)?3. Is it acceptable for 5 star hotel to have bathroom sink next to the bed?4. Is it acceptable for 5 star hotel to have a commode only 3 feet away from the bed with see through glass wall (and door) dividing you from a person using that commode?! So, when your travel-mate is using the commode not only you can see him/her but you can hear it all well and smell it too. Totally another question is how hygienic is this? An it is no more a question of style, aesthetics and/or personal preference this is a serious matter of hygiene. Only few feet away from your bed - and your head since there is no space in the room for you to move away from that scene! Now I understand that in Almodovar (or Pasolini) movies this may be "sexy" but really, 5 star hotel and see through toilet wall with the commode that is just few feet away from your head - How sick one should be to think that this is a matter of interior design and style?!Finally, I would ask interior designer of this hotel has he ever been in a hotel in his life before he designed this? Style is nice but function is important too.5. Is it enough for 5 star hotel to have just one pole protruding in the wall (with 3 hangers) for guests to hang their clothing?!6. Is it normal for 5 star hotel room to be so small that there is not enough space between the bed (footrest) and the wall to pass?!FINALLY I AM DESCRIBING ROOM 307 IN THIS "5 star Fusion Hotel"This hotel interior "designer-stylist" decided that the major style should be the darkness and black. So you enter reception desk to see few young ladies stylishly dressed in all white, behind them is cheesy color changing light show opposite is some sort of the bar walls painted dark stairs that lead to "unisex" bathroom are all painted black and stairs are illuminated with light on floor so you can hardly see when you are walking down. Nevertheless, you can still see that hotel is not clean and not maintained well, all of this darkness of "Dracula style" is not preventing you to see sloppy details, such a: worn out black carpet on a painated black floor that is fixed with silver duck tape... Water fountains that are leaking and there is a warning that the floor is slippery (all of this shrouded in darkness. When I asked for another room they simply refused. When we entered tiny elevator the floor was so dirty and sticky that we could hardly lift our feet?!So, again my concluding question is: Is this a 5 star hotel and if it is according to whose standards? The owners?! If you ask me I would "sentence" him and his interior designer to spend two weeks in the room 307. In addition their sentence would not be complete unless they pay 200 euro per night. I know many of us travelers are guilty too, since we want save money and yet enjoy privileges of 5 star hotel. I learned my lesson and I will never repeat my mistake again. So, you don't do it too. Do not waste your money. This is not a deal IT IS A NIGHTMARE. My advice to other people PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE STAY AWAY, THIS HOTEL IS A LIE. What they advertise is a shame. Again, as a cheap-tickets customer I have realized that once they take your money via internet you simply do not exist, hotel does not care, I protested asked for another room. I would walked away had it not been that I...

Nice hotel, in a beautiful location.
Nice hotel, in a beautiful location. Very friendly staff too. However, an accumulation of minor incidents (like one day being forgotten on the cleaning list, being wrongly charged for breakfast and drinks) and unfinished details (like a leaking shower) made us wonder if this hotel deserves a five star rating. Nevertheless we will be staying there again in September, so they will get a second chance to prove their five star worthiness.
