- Catalonia Giralda is situated in the historical and commerical centre of Seville, next to the Santa Cruz quarter on Avenida Recaredo, the largest avenue in the city. It is ideal for tourists, owing to its proximity to the historical Centre and other monuments of interest (Cathedral, Giralda and Casa Pilatos, Maria Luisa Park), and for visitors on business, thanks to its proximity to the Santa Justa station (high-speed train) and the city's business and commerical centre. The Bus stop "Puerta Carmaona" is situated 50 meters from the hotel and the railway station to 700 meters.

Catalonia Giralda Hotel
This is not a 4 star hotel, but very decent hotel, used by high schooler, and others traveling by the groups. Very decent continental breakfast provided to all for a reasonable price of 8 euros. What makes it good, is a hotel location, its 15 mins walk from Train Station and 10 mins walk to anywhere in old Seville.

Nice, but no elevators in the second building
Close to the "action", I recommmend to stay in the main building which HAS elevators. Clean, very good breakfast, very friendly staff. Flamenco at El Gallos is at a 10 minutes walk and is fantastic! Both 20:00 and 22:30 shows are packed.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
Our stay in Seville in May 2011 was the last leg of a 15 day vacation in France and Spain. We stayed here for 3 nights. The location of the hotel was excellent, as we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go, sights, restaurants, Flamenco etc. our room was typical in size for hotels in this price range. Overall however we felt that the hotel was "tired looking" with extensive upgrading long overdue. We were suprised that this hotel was rated at 4 stars. 2 stars would be more appropriate. On the first night we had to change rooms as the air-conditioning was not working. And although the hotel was able to give us another room just down the hallway, the staff was not at all apologetic and even seemed annoyed at our request.

Muy bien
A proximité du centre mais calme car situé dans une impasse (insonorisation des chambres assez légère par contre). Cette proximité permet de se déplacer à pied dans cette ville où il y a à voir à chaque coin de rue! Personnel agréable et serviable.

vela de san francisco et santa anna dans le barrio de Triana, pont Isabel 2, du 22 au 26 juillet. Concours de Sévillanas et spectacles musicaux en plein air.Très agréable et sympathique

aire acondicionado en habitación
aire acondicionado en habitación solo sirve para hacer ruido sin enfirar nada en absoluto y por el contrario en entrada, vestibulo y recepción parecia el polo norte. Cobertura de wifi pobre y complicados redireccionamientos a sabe Dios donde para conectarse.
