I ended my Camino de Santiago here, and there is no better place to recover. Just meters from the cathedral in a beautifully restored historic building, the modern interior was elegant and comfortable. Azabachería can be a noisy street (people,
not cars) yet if you closed the window you heard nothing. The room is so modern it should come with instructions, it´s not obvious how to operate the rain shower or the blinds.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
For lunch, head to the market. Buy an octopus (cooked) and take it over to the wine bar. Order a bottle of wine and they provide the bread and return the octopus plates later. You can also buy a cheese from a stall and they cut it up fo you. Much cheaper than a restaurant.
