Average hotel
Reasonable hotel but not quite up to the standard of previous Novotels I have stayed in (and I have stayed in quite a number) The location was a disapointment, being quite a way from the centre of Barcelona. Required a tram and metro ride of approx 45 minutes. The staff were very helpful and the food was fine but a bit limited. Had to ask for tea and coffee making facilities and was told they were only in business class rooms. They did provide them however but not very happy with paper cups and powdered milk. However despite these few niggles we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel if you don't mind the location.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a decent area. Its far from Rambla and the Boardwalk, but mass transit in BCN is amazing (train every 2 minutes, tram every ten) and there are buses and tram galore from a few hundred feet away. It would be a huge help if you researched the transit system before you got there. My only complaint was that there is no good food places nearby and the hotels breakfast was expensive and not included.

Spainards have a very dumb party schedule. However, we found it best to hang out in the Rambla district during the evening most of the nights (evening for the locals is 8:00-2:00 AM) and then when we wanted to actually club, we napped to about 2 am and headed out then. Clubs start to get good at about 3:00am and close at 7:00am. I dont like it any better then you do.

Great location close to Airport and Tram
Hotel staff were very professional and spoke good English. Rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay at Novotel. Staff was very helpfull in giving me directions to the nearest Tram station only 2 or 3 blocks away. We bought a ticket that lets you ride 4 different types of transportation ( Tram, Bus, etc.) as often as you want during the course of 1 day for Euro 5.20 per person. Then, we were off to Barcelona to see the sites. Great experience. We didn't have any problems. Get on T2 and change Trams at Cornellia Centre to L5. Ride L5 to Sagrada Familia and get off to see the Cathedral it is beautiful. Then travel to Placa Catalunya and walk the La Rambla (city center), towards the port for a great experience. We loved it.

vacation relax
Hotel not close to the city but it is not a problem if you have the car. Hotel confortable and cleaning, fantastic if you have childrens, there are a lot of facilities

An honest review
The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everybody there was able to give great directions and speak english. Although it is a little was from the city center you can access the center very easily with the Tram and the Metro.

schönes Designerhotel für Kurzaufenthalte
Sehr freundliches und hilfbereites Personal, schön eingerichtet, Morgenessen jedoch gegen Aufpreis. Lage ein bisschen weit vom Stadtzentrum weg, daher längere Tram und Metrofahrten nötig, jedoch kennt man die Stadt nachher ganz gut! Dieses Hotel würde ich wieder buchen!
