Magnificent hotel over the San Sebastian bay. This modern and comfortable hotel has a privileged location in the beautiful San Sebastian city. It is situated on the Igueldo Mountain, dominating the city and the bay and at just 10 minutes from the old town and the La Concha Beach. The Monte Igueldo Hotel offers to its guests 125 large and specially decorated rooms. Enjoy its spectacular rooms with terraces, where you can relax with its wonderful panoramic views from. Among the hotel’s facilities, it stands out its large outdoor swimming pool and the beautiful gardens where you can relax and have a break in open-air. The Monte Igueldo Hotel also has a magnificent restaurant where to enjoy the best Basque cuisine while watching the La Concha landscape. An ideal framework where you can meet the bars from the old town, the cinema and Jazz festivals and the sardine fishing boat race.

Wonderful view, beautiful location

Hotel was in a beautiful location at the top of a small mountain at the point of the bay. View was fabulous, fun amusement park around the hotel and the funiclar which provided transportation up and down the mountain was lots of fun. Would highly recommend this hotel

Great views of San Sebastian

The Wi-Fi charges are too expensive. Breakfast at 25 euros per couple was a great value with great variety of choices. Bar staff somewhat standoffish and unhelpful lacking normal customer service focus. Balcony lights did not work nor did anyone know how to fix them. CNN TV channel reception was poor the entire stay and front desk did not know what or how to report the problem.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Attractions park locate adjacent offers many good activities and noise was NOT a problem.
