The new Parador de La Granja is living proof of the rich architectural legacy of the Royal Site. It is composed of two buildings. On the one hand, the hotel is located in the Casa de los Infantes, constructed in the 18th century by Charles III to house Princes Gabriel and Antonio. On the other hand, the Cuartel General de la Guardia de Corps houses a modern Conference and Convention Center, situated just 55 minutes away from Madrid. This exclusive setting has 16 meeting halls of different capacities, reaching capacities of more than 600 people. In addition, it is equipped with a full set of state-of-the-art technical and audiovisual devices. It is worth emphasizing the monumental and natural setting in which it is to be found, just 11 km. from Segovia, a World Heritage City in the heart of the Guadarrama Mountains.
The hotel also provides dry cleaning, reception and library.
Madrid Barajas Airport(MAD).
La Granja is located in the south of the province of Segovia, in the vicinity of the Guadarrama Mountains. From Madrid it can be reached by the AP-6 dual carriageway, taking the AP-61 after the Guadarrama tunnel until exit 88 (all directions), linking up with the SG-20/N 110 ring road and following directions to La Granja located 11 km. from Segovia and 98 km. from Madrid. Sheltered behind the majestic door that gives it its name is the Restaurante Puerta de la Reina where the hotel can peacefully and elegantly taste an authentic and traditional cuisine, but with the nuances of modernity provided by its young and professional staff. There are the roasts that, slowly cooked in their oven, are served tender and crunchy according to the norms of Castilian cuisine, the judiones (large beans), the delicious trout with firm meat, the marzipan and egg yolk liquor cake or the famous raspberries. All this expertly combined with an exquisite cellar replete with the appropriate wines that creates quite an experience for the senses. In addition, in summer you can enjoy the terrace, with a less formal atmosphere and menu, but with a special charm.
