Modern establishment opened in 2002. Its 57 rooms, some with excellent views to the monumental area have a stylish and pleasant decoration, free WIFI internet connection and satellite television. Amongst its facilities; fitness room, sauna, reading room, garden with playground, free parking and private garage, bar and cafeteria. Located in one of the main gateways to the city, near the N-630 road and very close to the historic and commercial centre. Its restaurant, La Terraza del Montalvo, is one of the most highly frequented restaurants in the city. It is an enchanting place that offers along with its attractive dishes a rational price, and some of the Salamanca's best views. The hotel also offers meeting rooms with natural light till 250 people of capacity.

- The Hotel Montalvo is strategically situated adjacent to the N-630 highway at kilometre 343, also called "Vía de la Plata", the main access to the city from the South of Spain. The Salamanca bus and train station are three and four kilometres, respectively, from the hotel. A taxi will easily transport you to the hotel from both stations. The bus line #9 (Capuchinos - Zurguén) stops 300 metres from the hotel door.

- It is one of the most frequented restaurants of the city. For its tables every year pass more than 25,000 people who come to enjoy its exquisite dishes and affordable prices. The restaurant offers a Menu of the day, from Monday to Friday, with a broad variety of dishes for 11.90 . You can also try the a la carte menu, accompanied by a selective wine list. Either way, the hotel recommends that you make a reservation.
