Long walk from hotel
Walk toward town and eat on the porch of one of teh boardwalk restaurants and watch teh sunset over the Atlantic ocean.

Delightful
This is a top resort hotel in the Rota area. I stayed two nights while on business in the area. I had a small room, two twin beds, that was very clean and comfortable. The pool was clean. The food buffet has something for everyone - salads, fish, lamb, pork, beef, cheeses, fruits, a soup of the day, variety of breads, something for kids (like macaroni or hamburgers), a table of deserts, a selection of non-sugar deserts, and ice cream. At 20 Euros a fantastic meal. The beach at the hotel is clean but not wide. Walk north or south a 100 yards for a wider beach. As of June 2010, some road construction in the area makes getting to the hotel challenging. Hotel had American, Italian, French, British, and German tourists at the minimum. Other languages I could not clearly identify. The price of about $87 per day seems great compared to hotels in the states that have cost more and delivered less.
