Cala Pi Club Apartments Mallorca Island

Stayed here for five nights before joining a cruise out of Palma and have to say that we had a very enjoyable and restful stay. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and found it extremely roomy and well equipped. The apartment was serviced each day and we couldn't fault the service for efficiency and cleanliness. The pool area is well serviced by a pool-side bar and there are many pool side activities organised by the "Animation Team" for anyone who wants to join in, kids and adults alike. The only criticism I would level is that despite signs requesting that people are not permitted to reserve sun beds with towels, no one seemed to enforce this rule. Consequently, almost all beds were taken by 10 am each morning so I would advise an early start to ensure you get the sun beds you want. The hotel does offer a variety of meal packages which are serviced in a buffet style restaurant. We however opted to use the local supermarket for breakfast and lunch supplies and eat out in some of the local restaurants within easy walk of the complex. The hotel does also offer an ala-cart restaurant which we a found to be of reasonably good quality. There is a bar area of sorts but to be honest we found this a bit disappointing as it's used for evening entertainment which was very focused on children so not exactly a place to chill and relax. The resort is small and quiet without the usual collection of bars, clubs and souvenir shops. There is a very nice beach in a secluded cove with sun beds for hire and a small snack stall but be warned....the beach is reached by a steep set of steps which will take your breath away, specially during the climb back up!!! All in all, we were very happy with our stay here and would have no reservations about returning in the future.

Nice resort about 20 minutes from Palma Airport. Hotel stuff friendly but not that much to do. Pool area nice but the water wasn't heated in October! Only two small supermercados and couple of restaurants. I would recommend for families but not for activity seekers. Rental car needed.

We spent only three days in Mallorca. This hotel would be perfect to spend a week or more and the appartment room is so big with all you need. Kitchen, laundry, kitchen, two bedrooms with kingsize beds, restroom, living room, balcony and a very nice rooftop terrace with grill. Nice beach. Palma and the airport easy reachable by car in around 30min.

This is a wonderful little hotel that's situated nicely from all hustle and bustle of day to day life. The only downside to this resort is getting to the beach. You have to climb down a lot of stairs on a cliffside in order to get to it, so if you have small children that can't walk, it's a very painful trip to the beach. This resort isn't a party resort by any means, great for families and older people!

The hotel was lovely...knowledgeable, friendly staff. Clean and very roomy accommodations. The pool and surrounding area was very nice. Unfortunately for us it rained for our entire stay but we enjoyed our visit. We drove into Palma which is a beautiful town. We rented a car and pretty much drove everywhere..Deia, Valdamossa, etc. Due to the location of Cala Pi, a car is really necessary if visitors want to explore. Driving wasn't a problem but from what I understand it wasn't "tourist" season either. All in all, a wonderful vacation.

This was our first trip to Mallorca and turned out to be very relaxing after a 16 hour plane ride. No driving directions were found on the Cala Pi website so, although we did find it, it took a couple of short detours to get on one of the roads that leads to Cala Pi. The staff was very helpful on our arrival and everyone spoke fluent English--which was great since our Spanish and Catalan (the native language)are pretty limited. Although the kitchen was tiny, our unit was clean and well equipped. The beds, however, leave a lot to be desired...flat pillows and rough and scratchy blankets. Also if you stay here, bring extra soap. Our favorite restaurants were out of the hotel. Try the Taverna La Paleta down the street. Great food and great service! Unless you don't want to go anywhere, you will need a rental car. You won't need one around Cala Pi since the restaurants, bike rentals, the beach and hiking are within walking distance. However, if you want to explore the island or take a trip to Palma, a car is essential. Don't miss market days in the surrounding towns. Also, the Talayotic ruins at Capocorb Vell are a must-see and a short bike ride or 5-minute car ride from Cala Pi.

Apartamentos muy bien equipados y de una limpieza ejemplar. El tamañp es impresionante (90m cuadrados para apart. 2 dormitorios). Es la segunda vez que alquilamos allí y volveremos por seguro. Claro que necesitas coche porque el transporte público es muy escaso. 2 piscinas, y jardines con vistas preciosas a la cala, al mar y hastala Isla de Cabrera Comercios más próximos en Llucmajor a 18km pero pequeño supermercado al lado del Club. Cuidado que el Wifi se paga 3 euros la hora y está disponible en la recepíón del Club. Aparcamento en temporada difícil. Cala accesible directamente desde el Bar del Club (250 escalones !... pero vale la pena).

Eine schöne Anlage mit sehr gut ausgestatteten Appartements; etwas abgelegen, an der herrlichen Bucht, Cala Pi, Mietwagen erforderlich. Wir waren schon das zweite Mal dort, sehr empfehlenswert.
