The place to be
The hotel is in the perfect location with beautiful views. Every question we had we talked to a young woman at the front desk named Raquel; she is bilingual in English and Deutsch and is extremely professional and friendly. The private beach in back of the hotel is 20 meters away with the sound of the sea in your room. Palma city is a 20 min walk

Walk left out of the Hotel 30 seconds and you'll find a store with yellow paint where you can by sunscreen snacks and beer for cheap unless you wanna pay 4€ for the same thing in your minibar.. Restaurants are a few minutes down the hill, try BULGARIA it's the best food on the block. Drinks at CHARLOTTE are the way to go for a small quiet place with friendly people, it's next to the store with the yellow paint..also CitySightseeing tour bus to see the castle and in the city. Right around the corner from the Hard Rock is a pub/burger bar called HOGANS; the BBQ Burger is the best in the city and you can get a combo meal with a short beer for 9.50€ (ya can't beat that deal)... Also to the right coming out of the hotel across the road is a stair wall, WALK UP IT!! and see the incredible views that await.

November short break excellent
my sister and me celebrated her special birthday in November our room was perfect upgraded to large room just in case weather wasn't good we were lucky 23_26 all four days so used the enormous balcony..staff really helpful and pleasant giving very good advice on dining out .Italian within walking excellent ..bus to Palma 3euros 15mins very frequent .planning to take my husband as right on the beach so summer should be good .spa very professional and clean we were a bit unlucky as refurbished just finished so missed a day and still getting up to temp but was lovely massage

The hotel was wonderful. You have to get the room with the sea view or you will be highly disappointed. The rooms are Wifi free. The food was good, but expensive, but worth it at the hotel. You have to get out and go see to enjoy. The water was warm. The spa was great. We enjoyed our time and cannot wait to come back. We are so happy we did not listen to the reviews that were negative. The taxi from the airport is about 26 euro, the only thing we did not like was the bus tour for 15 euro. We actually caught the bus and walked the night prior and toured ourselves and enjoyed. We ate at some great places. Fresh seafood! The staff was helpful, and we enjoyed our time!

You can take the taxi, rent a car, or take the bus. The front desk will give you all the best spots and just go! it was a great experience!

Lovely hotel for a relaxing break
I have stayed at this hotel twice this year as a girls weekend break away and both time it has done the job! Very relaxing hotel, really well run and very clean. beautiful views and lovely beach ( you have to pay a subsidised rate for the sunbeds). Also really convenient as the bus into Palma is just outside and only costs 2.6 euros for two of us.... its only 8 euros in a taxi. Bar and restaurant food can be expensive but there is a beach bar next door which is much cheaper. Cala major can be a little rough round the edges but there is plenty of choice in bars and little restaurants. But with travel into Palma so cheap you can eat really well in Palma.. Would definitely stay here again - just perfect for a relaxing break.

Beautiful hotel, great location
The Nixe Palace has breath-taking views and a secluded little beach. Professional, helpful and friendly staff cater to your every need. The #3 bus runs right in front of the hotel which will take you anywhere in the city of Palma. A short jog down the street and you're able to go along the walkway on the ocean for miles. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there on our next trip to Mallorca.

The room was lovely and being able to hear and see the sea while lying in bed was heavenly. 5 star service in Spain is not the same as in other countries such as the Far East - Nixe really could improve their service by having tea/coffee facilities in the room and ice delivered to the room each evening. While on the sun deck there was no service at all as the pool bar was closed out of season but it would have been good to have someone come around from time to time to see if there was anything we needed - we would have happily spent money in the hotel during the day if the service had been there. The barman did not seem to be too happy to give us drinks to take out side in March.The location was ideal out of the main season but probably all a bit crowded in the height of summer.

Hotellet var flott med egen strand og nydelig havutsikt. Dersom du skal ligge på hotellet er havutsikt et must. Hyggelig personale, bra spa, god mat og frokost. Fitness/ gym var dårlig. Pluss for kort vei til Palma sentrum (ca 80 kroner med Taxi). Gåavstand ca 1 time.

It's ok...
We just returned from our holiday in this hotel and there r a few things that could be optimized. We booked a suite, which is a bit small compared to other 5* hotels. The hotel situation is really nice, but...The toilletries items are really poor. The restaurant on the 4th floor (the fish restaurant was closed) and the bar (don't order a Cosmopolitan! :-( are really poor. The interior is to my opinion really sad looking. It's very coldly decorated, no atmosphere whatsoever. The personel is ok..The food was ok, but we decided almost immediately not to have dinner there anymore. It's really much better to go into Palma as there is a huge choice of really good restaurants. We enjoyed our stay of 5 days, but wouldn't go back there anymore. It's a five star hotel with a 4 star service.
